I honestly would have expected a larger scoring margin by Newport.

I was impressed with how Ryle played against Lloyd last week. Coach has those boys playing hard.

Newport seems to be playing to their competition early on this season. And that’s what scares me about them to say they will make a run late in the season. They are a young team and come tourney time you can be popped on a given night, especially when I believe other teams will have coaching advantages. I think Miller is a bigger loss than people tend to believe, they are getting beat up on when it comes to physicality.
