Good for Cooper showing the naysayers that he deserves to play. This all comes down to who makes the team better and he falls right in that category.

Thanks, Clyde... Glad to hear the birds are putting together another dominate game. Thanks for the updates TBird2013..

Where is this game being played?

Great win to start off the season. The birds looked good for the short time I was there. If I had dressed warmer I would've stuck it out. A lot of talent and players looking in mid season form. Its going to be a exciting year for bird baseball.

Still cold....

Had to leave... Wasn't dressed warm enough. From what I saw the pitching looked great. Bats were alive. The birds look mid season form. 3-0 after 2.

Coach Baioni and his staff have put a ton of time and effort into making sure the field is playable everyday. It all started when he took the coaching job. He has the facility the best it has ever been and he not satisfied yet.

I'm sure you are......

delete.. out of respect...

Should be a great game....

Coaches might have a conversation before the game..

Don Weber has a lot of good hits on film..... The days of hits like a train.. Highlands current baseball coach had a hit on a covcath player in the 1996 season. Pretty impressive hit...

Roster yet... Sweep can't take it anymore.

Might as well just wear flags. If its not the heat its the concussions and so on. The summer practices are all ready cut short because school starting earlier. Then the dead period. When do these kids have time to practice and get there bodies prepared to play.

More or less just passed some pocket change to help TDYBallgame

Eddie will put competitive teams on the field every year. Beating Highlands may take some time to complete.

Wow wasn't expecting him... Good for CovCath.

This is starting to get confusing now.....

Still unable to get a roster?

Why would anyone think Dale Mueller would go coach CovCath?

Give it time... Here is #94

Where they doing this at?

Just another plaque he can hang on his walls....

Crosley New was the first I saw play varsity as a freshman this year. It was against Brossart. Not sure about previous games but I like Listerman getting the younger guys involved playing varsity. He might be serving up some Kool-Aid now.

They all need to stay together and lose to other sports. Years past some kids played middle school and freshman but when as the years went along they disappeared. Might because of the Kool-Aid that is served. I support the entire athletic program and want to see each sport succeed but these kids need to know that its ok to play other sports.
