Not many schools will be letting tryouts start on Feb 15 as it is a Sunday. Today is the more realistic one month countdown.

That is very true. I bet if it is a nice feb day, some coaches will have kids on the field.

Highlands is having Midnight Madness to kick off the new season. Coach B and the boys are ready to get at it right away. #bigbluewreckingcrew

It will depend on the condition of the field. Not many fields are in great shape this time of the year and I don't think a coach will use the first day of tryouts/practice to do field work. The best hope I think is to use the football field if it is good weather.

Where is this being held? I know the latest date given for the completion of the field house is early Feb.

Turf football fields are the best. We all know that it is entirely up to Mother Nature and how her Feb. and early March flows..

Will February 16th be the day? It is Presidents day, a school off day.

Another valid point, however that would be considered in season so teams would be able to practice. At least that is the rule here.
