With Williamsburg's senior class gone and Pikeville and Hazard in the same district, who comes from the East in next year's playoff? Raceland loses a lot of skilled guys and a QB, Pikeville now has competition within their district, and Williamsburg graduating their best senior class in history. Who is it?

From watching online, I was under the impression that the ref actually asked the Williamsburg player and Mayfield just happened to say it at the same time as the Williamsburg player. I think they just kind of agreed to play on that side do to the wind.

Well the PA has got offered multiple jobs for collegiate teams and has announced for the state softball tournaments. He is a very good announcer and does it very well. Sure, he tries and sells the concession stand and funnel cakes, but that's how you get money. Plus he loves his job. We won't fire him. If he leaves, it's because he followed his own self and wanted to leave. Not because Raceland fired him. He is good at what he does, loves what he does, and is an even better guy to be around. Period.

How big were they?

I saw that the rumors are true via Jake's twitter. Says his mother got a promotion for her job in Columbus and says it "is might be the best option". He also said the move is "nothing against the coaches or players". Today was his last day at Ashland.

The DB was a senior and had injured his ankle earlier in the first half and tried his best to play through it. He did, but was unable to run, only pass the ball (our QB as well). It wasn't soft, he was waiting for the clock to hit 0:00. None of this condones the late hit. It was a late hit. And it is a little embarrassing for the Ram fans. But you don't pass that late in the game. Period. Idc if you're Phelps, not to knock on Phelps, just trying to prove a point, or the New England Patriots, no team passes when you're up like that. It's not classy. I personally don't have very much respect for the W'Burg coaching staff for other reasons, this kind of adds to it. It is all about class. The player who hit the kicker got an ear full of it. I know Coach Salmons very well and he did handle the situation and I wouldn't be surprised if he suspended him from team actions for a few weeks. However, I don't know if he will, just a possibility. Raceland never reached this, ever. The kid was frustrated and let his emotions get to him. Happens often to any team and happens every year. I just find it amazing that this thread is even a thread. I believe that GCR Hoops is just trying to look for something to get started but I may be wrong. The way you are going about this argument/point you're trying to make seems like you are knocking on either the Rams or the Raceland posters. Either way, I find it, in itself, classless just as the hit is. But that isn't my business. I think you're right that it was a bad and late hit and was classless. But making it over dramatized as "Worst...Ever" is a bit much. I, personally, think you're trying to start something with the Raceland posters because of the incidents and comments in the Johnson Central and Belfry threads and I find a little immature to try and start something else because you haven't gotten your way. Nevertheless, maybe not. Maybe I am incorrect. Just looks like you're storing the pot and seeing what it might taste like after you stir it a little more. I hope I'm wrong. The hit was wrong. He was punished correctly. The pass and score was wrong. And that will also get treated correctly.

That doesn't prove anything. That proves that JC HAS to best Highland and/or Cov Cath to win a title. Belfry doesn't have to? Why the heck would they? You're belittling your argument the longer this goes on. You can't win it. Belfry is the better program. JC may be the better team, given the result of head to head battles. But aren't we talking about programs?

Compare their "eliteness"...who has more state titles?
