  1. Lucas, a Kansas player just slammed the ball to the floor out of frustration due to a jump ball call. No technical, no mention that he did anything wrong. Does this sound familiar at all? It should and shouldn't at the same time. A UK player (Humphries) was given a T for doing the same thing recently, but it wasn't out of frustration, it was out of excitement. Some say he was wrong, some say that he was within the rules, due to the way the rules are written. I get that and it's the ref's call, but for the ref's to miss this one and the media to not even mention it, show's how bad and even how bias ref's can be in today's game.
  2. I hate parking meters, but I've never thought it would be a good idea to steal one.
  3. What plantman said. The Galt House is my go to hotel in Louisville. Nice hotel in a great location.
  4. Yeah I was just joking around. I'm a charcoal guy, but I do still keep a gas grill hanging around. I find that it's getting less use as the years go by though, I don't even think I used it last year.
  5. In other words, just buy the Akorn and forget about having to replace the burners. Just sayin..
  6. Weber makes an excellent product. I figured it was only a matter of time before they enter the Kamado market, they would be stupid not to. This has my attention to say the least. IMO, the Kamado style grills are as good as it gets for most types of grilling and with Weber's history, I imagine they will make a great one. Although I do prefer an offset style smoker for ribs or large pieces of meat I would love to get rid of my gas grill and replace it with a Kamado style grill, going all charcoal/wood.
  7. This is bad and I mean BAD for Hilary no matter how you look at it. Granting someone immunity screams that there was something criminal that happened and it happened under her leadership. Even if she is not indicted and this guy takes a fall for her, it shows lack of control and leadership under her supervision. That's not exactly someone most people would want to be the most powerful person in the world. On top of that, it raises the question of her trustworthiness even more. She may be in good shape at the moment in the overall polls, but the left pretty much refused to attack her for this issue throughout the primary thus far. If they decide to, it will hurt her. The Republicans have left it alone as well, mainly due to the fact that they don't need to yet since the primary isn't over. But when they do and they will, expect her to take a major hit in her approval rating due to this, which could certainly shift a lot of votes to the right.
  8. Any news on the coaching search? Has GC started interviews yet?
  9. Did anyone notice the weird white ball that appeared on Cruz's mouth? Looked like he ate a styrophome cup prior to the debate and part of it came back up.
  10. To me the bankruptcies are a government problem, not a Trump problem. The government is who allows anyone and everyone to declare bankruptcy to save themselves or their businesses. Trump just took advantage of it a few times, don't think anyone else wouldn't do the same, especially the crew in Washington. The thing is, he has admitted to doing it, due to the loophole. Ask some of the others that have done it and see how many deny doing it for personal gains.
  11. Why would Trump need to bring any of this up? He's killing it as it is. I'm not a Trump guy and to be honest, we don't have a single good candidate this year. But that said, Trump is running one helluva campaign and I don't think he has to worry about Rubio one bit.
  12. Yeah that's it. A friend of mine has one and it's a great grill. If you get the free time choose a store in the Huntington area and let me know if it shows $329, because that's what it shows me here locally. Either it's a markup, or they are offering a pack of heroin with it, which wouldn't surprise me since the store is in Huntington.
  13. Isn't that the American dream? If the liberals get their way there will be no need to make money, it will be free. We'll just another printing press or few.
  14. I just chose a store in Crescent Springs and it does show $279. Weird. Edit: Just switched back to my local store in Huntington and it changed the price back to $329. Another reason on a long list as why I don't like WV.
  15. Hah I even changed my store to see if it changed the price, still shows $329. Which might be a good thing for me because at $279 I might end up with another grill and an earful from the bosslady hah.
  16. :lol2: I've been to most of the towns on the list and have never met anyone I would consider "snobby." I just couldn't resist a cake reference.
  17. Hmm..That's an even better deal, but it still show's $329 on when I clicked the link again. Kinda odd, unless different stores are offering different prices. It was the Akorn in a cart with a prep area to the right of the grill, not the stand alone unit with two small treys on each side?
  18. That's an awesome story. I remember hearing once that he almost went to UT, but did not know the specifics of it.
  19. You beat me to it, I was just about to ask. If I were someone that judged a book by it's cover though, I would probably think a town with the name Francicisville was likely full of people I want nothing to do with hah. No offense to anyone who lives there, as I don't judge a book by it's cover.
  20. Home Depot has a great deal on the Akorn with side cart prepping station right now. They have it for $329, usually it's $349 for the stand alone Akorn. Just figured I would pass it along for anyone thinking about going with an Akorn. It's a great grill and I wish I owned one, but I have the chargriller smoking pro for slow cooks and a weber kettle charcoal for most everything else. Then a cheap charbroil gas grill that I don't think I even used last year. If I needed another grill I'd jump on this one in a heartbeat. Char-Griller Akorn Kamado Kooker 22 in. Charcoal Grill in Grey with Cart-652
  21. Unfortunately I just came back from a short timeout, so I now have an understanding of how the process works. Here's ya a link. I would recommend avoiding timeout all together though. http://bluegrasspreps.com/terms-info.html
  22. No doubt, I think he would have rather had kibble with some bacon drippings on top.
