That's why KHSAA should have instant reply for all turn overs and scoring calls at the championship games. It was televised the footage was availible.

Really we shouldn't have had to stop them...I know Scott wants it to go away because they really know that the championship comes with an **** next to it (Won on bad call, KHSAA admits error). No matter whats happens tonight Scott will never get rid of that ghost.

Thank You...hoss403. Hey I for all the teams in the area except when we play each other. I get tired of all the talk about schedules. Every team has some cupcake games...mainly because there are not that many winning programs, but you have to play someone. I mean if you look at our schedule made 3 years ago you would say man that's a pretty good schedule. I mean JH, usally the top team in the area. Doss & North always has great athletes..Warren East & Central (Here of late) are very good teams and we all know about Male. That's six pretty good teams and then you have people criticizing the record. Like they have played every top team in the state.

Well I believe Henry Clay was ranked #7 and I believe Scott Co is ranked #2 (That we are playing tonight). What was Paul Dunbar ranked and I don't think Bryan Station was in the top 10 as well. We can only hope both Meade & Central win tonight.

Actually, the combined records for the teams Meade played this year was 45 wins-55 losses. I believe Central Hardin had a simular schedule 45 wins-55 losses. Central played 3 teams with winning records as did Meade. Meade played both undefeated teams in 6A. Central Hardin played 0. Meade has played 3 teams in the top 10 in 6A to Central Hardin-1. So lets not compare schedules. As to running the scores up. Our coaches don't do that. I believe the rumor was JH put their second team in, but Central kept their first team in. Mmm..what would you call that. Yes Central finally got a win after 15 YEARS over a less than 100% Meade when they played by 1 point. Really...We had this discussion before schedules are made 3-4 years out, it is impossible to foresee which team on the schedule will be good or bad any given year. In the playoffs Meade has played #7 & #2 teams in 6A. Central Hardin neither team ranked in the top 10 !!!!! My orginal point was why change what you are doing if you are winning.

That would have made it 21-14 if I remember correctly with about 2 min to go. Yes Scott may have came back to tie it but, based on how hard points were to come by for both teams it would have been difficult.

Yes and Bryan Station still lost. Well, Meade really has no reason to pass. Its a grinding, time of possession style of offense. Meade did complete majority of their passes against Henry Clay. We were not a big passing offense last year and we all know who really won. I don't think we are one dimensional, we pass when we need to, why get away from the run if you are winning (9-2). A matter of fact Henry Clay did not pass that much either and I think Bryan Station will regret not having a run game against Central Hardin. If we can hold Male (by far the best offense in 6A) to 17, we can hold anyone. if we give up big plays (which we haven't all year) it will be a long night. We are 21-5 the last two years...we believe in our coaches and players, the recipe is working.

Meade's offensive is as good as any team in the area. So I guess all the offenses in the area are very average at best. What's wrong with playing good defense to limit your opponents to scoring. We had a shoot out with North still won. I would submit any team that allows scores in the upper 20 or 30 will probably lose more than they win. 20s or 30s probably loses more than they win.

You can see where the wrong call still bothers Meade a little. I'm sure Scott would feel the same. But lets talk about this friday. The only stat that matters is the W ..ask Henry Clay. They hard more yards between the twentys than I could count but only 7 points. But I agree about Friday both are good teams with quality players and coaches. I too believe the team with the fewest mistakes wins.

It doesn't matter what happened in the regular season and really if you what to compare... Henry Clay beat Bryan Station and Bryan Station beat Scott Co and we beat Henry Clay...so what does all that mean NOTHING....Scott Co might win but I can tell you it won't be a high scoring game. We held Male to 17...Central Hardin to 7 (In regulation) and Henry Clay's offense to 7. Three top 10 team in 6A...and really if not for a incorrect call last year in the state finals would be wearing championship rings. I believe Scott was also favorited in the game by a large margin. We will see Friday.

Meade doesn't have that many two way players.

Maybe..but I believe Henry Clay has more athletes than Scott to include the 6A leading rusher and Henry Clay only scored 7 points on offensive. Meade has the number 1 defense in 6A...Meade shut down Warren East, Male and Central's running games. So we will see.

Meade 28...Scott 21. This game will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. Meade is finally getting some of their star players healthy.

First, Henry Clay was a great team..very well coached athletic and very disciplined. It was such a great game hated to see either team loss. Glad we got the win. All the kids played their hearts out. Supernat, just to educate you on Meade history since you think we haven't accomplished much. This is Meade County history..14 District Championships...9 Regional Championships...2 State Champion Runner-ups. If not for a horrible call last year would be state champs.

Update on Tyler Addesa Meade Co 2015 FB/LB. Recently, Tyler received his first D-1 offer from Wofford College as a preferred walkon as a FB. Tyler has also visted UIndy (D2) 3 times, they are recruiting him at the LB position. Indiana State most recent D1 to show interest in Tyler as a LB.
