  1. On a more serious note...ticket information for the game is located on a seperate thread.
  2. The main gate (Ticket window) is located on the right side of the school as you are facing the school. There will two lines for fans that purchased tickets in advance either from Meade County or Trinity. People with passes can go directly to the gate. In addition to the two ticket windows there will be 5 tables set-up next to the ticket windows for fans to buy tickets. Gates will open at 6pm. We are expecting a very large crowd please be patient and enjoy the game. Roll Waves !!!!
  3. They don't need tax $$..Everything the churches does is tax exempt.
  4. First of all Trinity alum, we have a very nice facility...One of the nicest in the area. Our county does an excellent job funding our sports programs. As far as "Tradition" raising money we raise plenty. So don't put your foot in your mouth about no tradition ..you don't have a clue what our tradition is. So are you saying parents raised the money to build your staduim. I think not...Churches get lots of tax breaks (as in tax exempt) from the government. So in a way our tax $$ are paying for your nice staduim. Just like your tax $$ help pay for public schools.
  5. All Tell said "Male shut you out but you should have won? from what I heard Male also dropped at least three touchdown passes so they probably should've beaten you by more.' My point was the wisha..shoulda..coulda is in all sports. Every time a team losses or performs lower than expected they have a reason why...its never the other team may have played better than expected. The fact was Male only scored 17 on us..and we didn't score at all. I still think we could have won if we were heathly. The fact is we weren't and lost.
  6. Thats the one area we are good in. Our FG kicker can hit a 40 yarder consistantly.
  7. I believe if we are healthy we should have won. Thats my opinion I don't care if you like it or not. We also dropped passes..missed blocking assignments and fumbled on a kick off...just like Male dropped some passes. I don't know how much sports you watch but your argument of if we didn't drop a pass we win..if we don't miss that extra point, if Dale jr doesn't blow a tire and break a shifter he might have won the NASCAR championship. The fact was Male did drop those passes and we didn't make enough plays on offense to win...
  8. I will say one thing its going to a great crowd..both teams have lots of fans. It going to be like a college game...
  9. I agree our regular season wasn't no way near as difficult as yours. It not the kids fought they play who is listed. Next year our schedule gets a little more difficult. We added Bulter...Warren Central..Bryan Station and North Hardin returms to our district.
  10. Male is a great team, I believe we held them to their second lowest score during the season. We really should have won that game but we had several key injuries on offense that hurt us.
  11. Let me see we played 3 teams ranked in the top 10 in the state in 6A, to include the reining state champs. Doesn't mean much for friday's game, but yea Meade's playoff schedule was harder than Trinity.
  12. Not sure why anyone would think Trinity does not have a good defense. Believe me, the coaching staff and players don't buy any of the "porous" defense stuff. We all know the super district is the toughest district in 6A. All the programs in 6A have lots of respect for all the teams in that district. We have been the underdogs in every game and by the voting we are again. What's special about this particular Meade team is they are truly a team. These kids are roughly 46-7 since their freshman year. I think what has upset a lot of Meade fans is the shear lack of respect from lots of the Trinity brethren (some think the Waves are not good enough to beat them because you play a tougher regular season schedule), entitlement if you will. We expect a tough game, Trinity might win, but anyone who thinks this team will just hand over the trophy because Trinity shows up with 100 private busses and Rocks on their jersey are severely underestimating the resolve of this Greenwave team. Just like Trinity, this team is well coached (In my opinion some of the best coaches in the state) and has plenty of playmakers. Really on paper Trinity should win..tougher regular season schedule..1400 male population...plays in the dreaded "super district"...15 or so state championships...150 kids on the sidelines...no two way players...big stadium...follows a college formula to find players. But we don't play the game on paper. Trinity will know it was in a dog fight (Ask Scott Co). This Meade team is physically and mentally strong, well coached and believe in each other. Kick-off time is 7:30
  13. Bottom line...we respect the winning tradition, coaching staff and players of Trinity, but we don't fear Trinity. A lot of team lose to X & Trinity before they even get off the bus. Trinity will be a tough out as we will be, but really what would you expect this time of the season. No doubt Trinity played a more difficult schedule during the regular season. But Meade has played a more difficult schedule in the playoffs and has won. Not sold on the regular season difficulty agrument yet..we went to the state championship last year and semi state thus far this year with the same schedule. With the playoff system in kentucky, the regular season only matters for playoff seating. the real season starts in the playoffs...so far Trinity & Meade are undefeated...
  14. Trinity is 8-5, we are 11-2. We do not need douters..
  15. At the beginning of the year...we had a lot of two way players. but not as many now. Especially on the line.
  16. Wow...Well I guess you don't watch a lot of football. Mistakes is what usually determines winning & losing at all levels. Actually the punter was pressured all night and that's what you want he was worried about the rush causing the mistake. That's great special teams play. Our very limited offense still had to march down 40 yards and SCORE..which we did!!! Henry Clay had 1st down and goal from the 1 and was stopped..great team win the offense did its part and the defense closed it out. Henry Clay stacked the box and we still won. I guess Trinity and X are also very limited because the score was 9-3 Friday.
  17. Your comment was "Their offense is one dimensional and very limited. Their passing game is rather primitive. Their quarterback is a good athlete who they count on to make plays." I have no problem with our running game. What I was talking about was your description "very limited" that's not accurate based on putting 27 on Scott and 30 on Central Hardin. I'm sorry that we haven't had to come back from being down by 2 TDs very often this year.
  18. All I say keep thinking the team is one dimensional...we have been the underdogs throughout the playoffs. We scored 27 on Scott Co #2 in 6A & 30 on Central Hardin #3 in 6A. Don't know why everyone thinks throwing the ball makes u a good team. Bryan station lost because they didn't have any defense or running game. Every college & pro team wants to establish the run. We got robbed at the championship game last year and are headin back to the state semi again this year. Back to back regional championships...I bet a lot of teams would like to be one dimensional like us... Our defense compliments our offense and vise versa. The defense won the game against Henry Clay..The offense won the Scott co game. The offense had the ball for 22 minutes in the 1st half against Central Hardin. Our passing game supports our running game.
  19. You are right the price is general admission, it allows you admission to sit in the visitors section.
  20. That wouldn't be a good idea. Not to mention the administration probably wouldn't allow that.
  21. We are not surprised by your pick. Passing is not our weakness ask Central Hardin. We have passed as much as Henry Clay and Scott Co
  22. No matter who wins (Hopefully Meade does) all the players and coaches have had a great season and has represented District 2 very well.
  23. 1. Shaun Whittinghill- Louisville, Moore High School, 6'3 216, Defensive End Wittinghill came on during the camp circuit and has impressed scouts with his athleticism and size. He has a frame worth working with and sound finesse moves on the defensive line. 2. C.J. Walker- Lexington, Bryan Station High School, 5'10 172, Wide Receiver Claitt is a stellar athlete and proves it through many different sports, especially track. Although the gaudy numbers he put up last year as a receiver shows he does have skill at that position. 3. Jalen Washington- Frankfort, Frankfort High School, 5'8 174, Athlete Washington is one of the most entertaining prospects to watch play on Friday nights. His speed and skill set screams playmaker. 4. Jensen Feggins- Bowling Green, Warren Central High School, 6'0 203, Wide Receiver Feggins is a big, physical receiver with a lot of upside. This year will be his first at his new school after transferring from Highlands to follow his dad, Howard, who is now the head coach Warren Central High School in Bowling Green. 5. Tequan Claitt- Lexington, Bryan Station High School, 6'2 178, Athlete Claitt, like his teammate Walker, is a very well-rounded athlete. Football may not be his sport at the next level, but it sure could be. Track seems like it may be where he finds a spot at the next level, as well. 6. Delvon Dunn- Louisville, PRP High School, 5'9 190, Running Back We'll have to wait until the season gets going, but Dunn might be one of the best kept secrets around. He didn't camp much this summer. So he hasn't been seen in his latest form. He's also the brother of former U of L and current Chicago Bear defensive lineman Brandon Dunn. 7. Beau Hoge- Ft. Thomas, Highlands High School, 6'1 196, Quarterback Hoge -- the son of ESPN's Merril Hoge -- will see his first start at quarterback as a Bluebird this season. This summer his name came up as a possible offer after a good performance at a camp with Ohio. He'll have plenty of time to prove himself as the season progresses. (Has offer now) 8. Ellis Cain- Louisville, Male High School, 5'10 195, Running Back Cain is a balanced back who does his best work from 25 yards in from the goal line. He isn't the fastest back out there, but his combination of power and speed are more than enough to make him a top-tier running back amongst his Bluegrass piers. 9. Tyler Addesa- Ekron, Meade Co. High School, 6-0 201, Athlete Addesa isn't your typical DB/RB/WR athlete -- he's a DE/OLB/FB type. Fullback is a position he'll play for the first time this year and could be where he excels. Also getting much bigger and stronger. (Preferred Walk on offer from Wofford @ FB) 10. Arien Beasley- Goshen, North Oldham High School, 5'10 190, Running Back Beasley has no shortage of speed in his arsenal. I'm not so sure how accurate his height and weight are because many coaches have expressed interest, but size was the deterring factor. Who is missing and why.
