This another one I watched at the Rivals camp. He worked out with the LBs even though he is the starting DE/FB for the waves. Very physical off the line and good speed. Right now he is scheduled to work out for Ball State University, Eastern Michigan University, University of Cincinnati, Purdue and visit University of Missouri this summer.

Good looking young player, but can't believe he's D 1 for his size. After watching his video I can name at least 5 NKY players who look every bit as good, if not better. 1) Johnson DL ( Dixie ) 6'4" 290 2) Johnson DL ( Newport ) 6'2" 315 3) Combs DL ( Beechwood 6' 4" 230 ) 4) Machlitt DL ( Dixie ) 6' 3" 235 5) Markberry DL (Sk) 6' 0" 240. Good luck to this young man and hope he does get a chance to play D1, but still think his size won't allow that. Not a lot of 6' 1" 210 guys get a chance to play D1, unless you are and High School All-American.

It looks like his size is lacking for D-1. I do think he would look better in a stand up role, such as, a hybrid in a 3-4. Shows a good first 2 steps, seems to be pretty fast, but it looks like he would get hung up on those big tackles. definitely a great looking athlete. I think he would be a great fit for a Thomas More type school or an NAIA school.

He can player higher then Div 3 and Thomas More, or NAIA school. Think he looks more like a D2 kid myself.

I'm saying he would excel there. I'm not knocking him either. He looks like a great athlete, I just dont know if its coaching or what but it looks like he struggles to get off of some blocks and recovers with his speed. He wont be able to do that in D-1 or even D-2. But who knows he could go either level. He wont play D-line ever in college and that may hurt his D-1 or D-2 stock.

Thomas More, Georgetown and Mount Saint Joesph are all receruiting him as DE. He won't play D1 as a DE. DE is just where Meade needs him. Kid benches 315, squats 400 and power cleans 245. Not many LB in KY have those numbers. Eastern Michigan, Cincinnati, Southeastern Missouri and Ball State all recruiting him as a OLB or Hybrid LB but not DE. He had a better shuttle and powerball toss than Eli Brown at the Nike Sparq. At 6"1 205 he is as big as any of the top LB in the state. Should end up somewhere around 6'2 or 6'3 at 220-230 by graduation. Remember most D1 players will redshirt which will increase their size even more. Eastern Michigan thinks he can be a stud at LB.

He is 6"1 @ 210 now. Remember he still has 2-3 years to grow. Probably will end up 6"3 @ 225-230 great size for todays D1 OLB

Agree, very strong and fast. Looks like a D-1 L/B.

What hurts this player is Meade's defensive scheme. They are a contain defense, they do not rush the passer. He has natural rush skills (speed & quickness). In a scheme like St. X or Trininty he at least 15-20 sacks a year. Cincinnati started recruiting him as a Sophomore. He is playing FB this year as well 6'2 220 and factor in his bench, squat and powerclean. Pretty mean FB.

Bingo. Thats the main point I was trying to make. if he was allowed to play as a hybrid and rush hard off the edge, then it's a different story. He would blow by tackles and create havoc. I definitely agree that the scheme hurts him.

Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinios University, Wofford College, Illinois State University, Southest Missouri State, Carson-Newman and Henderson State University join a growing list of schools that have named Tyler Addesa is a Top Prospect or extend a camp invite too.

Update on Tyler Addesa Meade Co 2015 FB/LB. Recently, Tyler received his first D-1 offer from Wofford College as a preferred walkon as a FB. Tyler has also visted UIndy (D2) 3 times, they are recruiting him at the LB position. Indiana State most recent D1 to show interest in Tyler as a LB. Mesurables...Height "73"..Weight 202 lbs 40-4.74...225@17 reps...Max Bench 345...Shuttle-4.40...squat 400...Power Clean 245.
