Was there not another Hoops Dream team? There was a team that looked like it had Justin Miller of Owensboro, Eljay Cowherd of Bardstown and maybe Tisdale of HC but I am not totally sure except for Miller,,,,how can you miss that kid....lol

This team is a really, really good shooting bball team. Very solid

Is there a place where I can find the rosters and high schools of the 17u's? TheVille, both Hoops Dreams, Retros, WKY Elite, Prospects, NKY Bulldogs. There were some very nice players that I thought I knew who they were but was not sure. Also, as mentioned in an earlier thread the officiating was very sketchy in some of the games I watched. Not so much as it determined the outcome but I was worried about the kids safety.

I think with his play we have to begin to consider him in the mix for the best player in the state.

The Prospects were also down two starters and a sub. Their leading scorer (Ramser) and starting PG (Murphy) did not play.

Looking at the brackets for the 17u tourney it looks like the first and second round will begin on Saturday night. That will leave a couple of teams shorthanded. Levitch (TheVille), Stafford (TheVille), Ramser (Prospects), Murphy (Prospects), and Richardson (Prospects) will miss Saturday night games as Trinity has their Prom on Saturday night.

17u Louisville Prospects won the Silver Bracket of the Adidas Spring Classic in Indianapolis. Today they beat Michigan Mustangs, Tennessee Tigers and the Evansville BB Club. Chase Shellman (DeSales), Brent Kidwell (Collins), Jay Murphy (Trinity), and Daniel Ramser (Trinity) played really well all weekend. They ended up coming out of a really tough pool that saw the number one pool seed reach the gold final, the Prospects won the Silver Bracket and the third place pool team won the Bronze Bracket.

Isnt Raymond Spalding on this team? I see no mention of him in the threads.

Louisville Prospects 17u lost the pool final in the Adidas Spring Classic 95-93. They will advance to the Silver Bracket and play the Michigan Mustangs. Daniel Ramser (Trinity) scored 28 pts for the Prospects. Good showing for those boys playing in only their second tourney together.

Good Luck. Can you remind me of the Bulldogs roster? Thats a big frontline to deal with.

Since you are a Trinity guy, I assume you watched them play this past season. You disagree with my opinion? The thread is about peoples opinions of the 7th region players, I gave mine.

Stafford is about right at "others to watch". The only other kid from Trinity that can make a true arguement for top ten would be the Ramser kid. He will be the glue that holds that team together next year.

I wouldnt sleep on the 17u Louisville Prospects. Even though newly formed they are a 3 pt machine.

Ivory did start the game on Gilbert and Trinity was down I think like 12-2. Ivory picks up two fouls and then Ramser was on him the second quarter and Trinity goes from down ten to up five. Not sure anything would have stopped him but I would have taken my chances with Ramser's extra three inches. That might have made a difference as Gilbert's "move" is dribble dribble jab step back pop. As long as Stafford had his hands down that was there for him, the extra few inches seemed to help Von Handorff on Sunday. Anyways I just think in the end is was Scott County's night to shine.

ah Hellbird, believe me I had no idea. I initially thought I bet St. X has done it so I just went to their website and there is was. Granted alot of those titles are dated but still it is impressive.

Gilbert was amazing against Trinity,,,,,,,,,,and then today he goes 4-25 and 0-2 from the line
