  1. Not sure how officiating has been for the region tournament but I believe that will dictate the play some. Doss is deep but Desales plays a smart game. If the officials allows Doss to play their game and Doss plays like they want it, they win running away. Something different happens, Doss still wins a close one. Doss by 10.

  3. I was thinking East was added to 6th when Jtown, Fern Creek, and Moore was added... which happened to be the same year High School Basketball became relevant to me again...
  4. Shellman will play college somewhere. D2/D3 ranks I believe is where I saw teams he had offers from or was visiting.
  5. Someone correct me if I am wrong... But this will be the first year since reorganization of the Louisville regions that it hasn't been PRP/East final. I believe East will be a lot better team next year with who they have returning.
  6. It would not surprise me one bit.... There is a reason 2 other guards left last year.
  7. How well was the transfer West for the team? He seemed to get a lot press at the beginning of the season but never seem to fit T program.
  8. Maybe to have minimal conflict with girls state tournament that will be going on...

  10. Cooper is really the shooting guard who is forced to play point.... Amazing both kids that transferred from Waggener are better players and getting the coaching they need.
  11. Waggener does have talent but I believe their main point guard is out for the season. What Waggener is really missing is decent coaching. Unless the kids AAU coach behind the bench, the coaching is missing most of the time.
  12. Fern Creek wins this game. Bullitt East struggled with a depleted Whitefied team (start out whole game, 1 or 2 more players at point through out game). Defense will dictate the game and it sharpe has to handle the ball plus score East will be in for a long night.
  13. Ballad has so much speed and can match Moses height. Should be a run away game. Plus I think Easter struggles with their guard play, which should allow Ballard's press to be effective. Now, being this is kind of a rivalry game, should be close early, but Ballard still runs away with the game.

  15. Fern Creek vs Jtown was a great game last night. Creek came in with a game plan & stuck with it the whole game. Johnson couldn't get a clean shot or get to the basket all night. He finished with a season low of 9 points with no basket since the 1st qtr (6 1st qtr, 3 free throws rest of game). Creek struggled with their shot the 2nd half soo they got to basket for scoring. Others for Jtown tried to pick up scoring but with bad shots which hurts team. Nothing but good things for Fern Creek with the coaching & kids. They play hard and listen to coaches. Johnson's school decision should be by end of March. Should be an exciting next chapter...

  18. DJ Scott is a nice player. I thought for sure it would a blowout but I guess without your main guy, the game was close. In Jefferson County, there are some good kids and the teams are spread out.
  19. It depends Owensboro guard play. If they can handle Trinity's defense, they win. But I believe Trinity get back on track and win by 6.
  20. Just making noise when I said Parker dominates Sutton. I know Sutton is going to score & rebound. But Male won with inside out presence. And they got that from Parker with total team balance. The same I would say for Johnson with Jtown, he is going to do his thing no matter the defensive. Other guys have to step up to be successful in big game situation..
  21. Per Courier Journal : "Will Parker added 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Will Cook finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the victory." and "Miller hopes beating Manual for the third consecutive season will be a spark as the Bulldogs wrap up the regular season." and "Friday’s game also marked the season debut of Deondrai Williams, who suffered a severe cartilage injury in his knee during the preseason. He only scored five points, but coach Larry Miller said his presence on the floor filled a huge hole for the inconsistent Bulldogs."
  22. Good players are going to play their game.. Sutton got his & Parker led his team to victory. Manual will be fine but has to win the big games.
