  1. I want them to lure native son Coach Wolfe away from Male! I am surprised this has not happened already.
  2. Another 6A team wins! This is terrific. Scott is not a slouch. Some justification for recent lofty ranking for Conner.
  3. I am certain Saint Xavier sold plenty of combo dinners tonight! Glad players came out healthy. It was a great Friday night for football!
  4. Wow. A little bit of a surprise. Nice showing Ballard. Glad to see 6A squad from District 4 represent.
  5. The Raiders are beginning to live up to pre-season expectations! Awesome!
  6. In 2017, any win by a 6A team is a good win!
  7. Happy to see McDuffie pick off screen pass. Cardosi played well with his broken thumb in a cast. Dominant effort by defense. Offense should have/could have scored a couple more touchdowns but escaping Maxwell Field with a victory is always sweet. Two field goals, a safety, and a pair of touchdowns with PATs was more than adequate.
  8. I am looking forward to seeing the Camels in the second round of the playoffs!
  9. Male will be starting a former RB at QB. The original starter(Chesser) is available as he has recovered from shoulder injury sustained vs. Floyd Central.
  10. He gave you good information. The game was 14-7 Trinity after first quarter. Male brought around 40 players. Trinity dresses around 70. A Trinity fumble led to the Bulldogs first touchdown. Later in the game a blocked punt by the Rocks led to a touchdown.
  11. Rondale Moore lost out to USA #1 Ranked Mater Dei's, (Santa Anna CA) Nikko Remigio by 1,930 votes. Mater Dei is co-ed Catholic School with an enrollment near 2,100. The Monarchs snapped then USA #2 Bishop Gorman's (Las Vegas NV) 55 game winning streak last weekend.
  12. Nicely done. I think the Green Wave of Meade County may factor in this scenario. That being said, Central Hardin is a great deal easier to travel to than McCracken County for the Trinity faithful.
  13. My feelings exactly. I hate people have to deal with hurricanes anywhere. They know it is part of the risk in living in a beautiful area like Miami. I pray Irma misses Florida, but it is going to hit somewhere. The original thought came from long-time friend of mine-and father of a Trinity starter. I know the players are to be focused on Male, but some discussion of Irma is going on at "Rock Heaven".
  14. Until Coach Wallace decides it may be time to change his thinking. :deadhorse:
  15. Rondale trails by 15 votes!!! As of 3:11PM on Wednesday. What Moore did was amazing, game altering, and Moeller (OH) could not find an answer. It is not often a Kentucky high school player gets a shot at national attention.
  16. WOW! YOU DID GIVE THIS SUBJECT SOME THOUGHT!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!
  17. I know Trinity's PA guy takes a roster and confirms pronunciations with a staff member from the opposing team prior to the game.
  18. 19. With Hurricane Irma approaching Miami, Trinity has been put on alert Champagnat will not be allowed to travel if school is shut down. There's always a chance the storm will bypass Miami. Here's hoping the damage/pain to all those affected by Irma is minimal.
  20. If Trinity takes care of the 'Neers and/or Camels, they travel to the Region One survivor.......possibly Meade County or McCracken County the day after Thanksgiving. The other "half" will need to come to Louisville on Friday November 24 unless a couple of upsets occur. It is district 4 vs. 6 and 1 vs. 2 in Semi-State 1 half of tournament It is 7 vs. 8 and 3 vs. 5 in the Semi-State 2 side. Odd numbered districts host in odd numbered years when seeds are higher and when seeds are equal in the quarterfinals. Trinity gets a break by representing the lower numbered district when both districts are even numbered. Opposite is true in the three vs. five mentioned above. If both 1s win their first two games, district five will host the quarterfinal game.
  21. Because they paid for it all those years ago. If you have a better system in mind, please contact Jason Frakes at the Courier-Journal.
  22. Thanks for the synopsis. I enjoy keeping an eye on the national scene.
