  1. The only fact we have in this case is he was shot and killed. Everything else is appealing to common sense unless new facts arrive.
  2. Why else would he be out running besides a jog? That’s the only logical explanation for why he was running. If you’re going to steal something or anything else AA is accused of, then he wouldn’t have done it in broad daylight. That’s insane. He was out for a jog.
  3. Then I’m guilty of trespassing. I would imagine most of us on here would be at some point in our lives. It’s still a completely irrelevant talking point in this case because trespassing doesn’t warrant anything other than a conversation that hey you shouldn’t be here from either the owner or law enforcement. It’s irrelevant. We know why this guy was gunned down and it has absolutely nothing to do with trespassing.
  4. Exactly. This case is really cut and dry. It’s pretty obvious why this guy was gunned down.
  5. So he was out jogging and saw a construction site and decided to walk on it? This is a non discussion that shouldn’t even be brought up when talking about this case. It’s a irrelevant talking point.
  6. So supposedly the house that he supposedly went in to, was under construction. If so I don’t think there is anyone of us on here that hasn’t stepped foot on a construction site of a house that wasn’t ours. Growing up my house was the first on our street so I watched every other house on the street be built and I know for a fact that I was in every one of those houses before they were finished. That’s not a crime.
  7. Ehh better than nothing. Maybe this will kickstart other sports to come back sooner than later and contactless sports like nascar and golf can probably lead the way in showing how to safely put on events. Not a nascar guy, never will be, still won’t watch when it comes back despite being the only sport playing. But I am excited it’s back.
  8. Definitely in the 2 or 3 category. Would definitely get it on my own at some point, but would probably wait until there were some more evidence of any long term effects of the vaccine. I feel like this will eventually dive head first in to a discussion about anti-vaxxers and if so I’m here ready to have a healthy debate with anyone who stands with anti-vaxxers.
  9. They should all be admitted to mental institutions as far as I’m concerned. I don’t trust anyone that owns any pets besides domesticated dogs and cats. I think they all have more than just a screw loose.
  10. I watched it. Didn’t really provide a whole lot of new insight. The 3 people we’re all most interested in aren’t in it.
  11. Personally I don’t like the idea. It just wouldn’t feel right without the seniors from this year out there. I just feel like it would feel weird for everyone involved. So they would play 1 state championship and then play another 3 months later? Just doesn’t seem right. As much as it sucks, I think we all just need to consider the 2019-2020 season a wash and move on. There will always be the what-ifs for the teams that had a legit chance to win a State title, but there’s no good situation to rectify that. Allowing seniors to come back for a 5th year seems crazy. For the best players their college coach isn’t going to allow them to play in the tournament and risk injury and even regular college students aren’t going to head to Lexington in December during finals to play the tournament and it may not even be possible if a student went to school out of state. Unfortunately, we’ll never have a resolution for the 2019-2020 season.
  12. The top picture is of my 2 dogs. Ziva and Smokey. Ziva is a mutt. Dad was a Husky and mom was a Great Pyrenees/ St Bernard. She’s a giant. ~110 pounds. Smokey is an Australian Shepherd we rescued from a puppy mill. The bottom 2 pics are of my kitties. The little one in the basket is Laila she’s 7 months. The one in the box is Louie who’s 2. The last pic is of our grumpy old man Bob who’s 14.
  13. 100%. Private ownership of Tigers should have a no tolerance policy. Unless they are in a legitimate zoo, there should be no Tigers in America.
  14. That’s kind of the point of the whole documentary.
  15. Gotcha. Somewhat familiar with the area. I live downtown in the channelside area. My apartment overlooks where the cruise ships take off.
  16. Her current husband is the textbook definition of a submissive. Poor guy. That picture of him dressed as a tiger with Carole holding the leash was absolutely hysterical. Haha my girlfriend had to pause the show because I couldn’t stop laughing :lol2:
  17. Just moved to Tampa. What part of the city is Big Cat Rescue in?
  18. Lots of overlap between baseball and football in my experience back in high school and it seems it’s still that way. Those 2 sports probably have the biggest overlap.
  19. Now this would be a good idea.
  20. On a much larger scale for kids who have higher aspirations at the next level, the high school football season has to coincide with football season. It would change the entire recruiting calendar. With NSD essentially being in December now and a large percentage of players foregoing their last semester of high school and enroll early, it would throw everything off. If you’re arguing it should only be a KY thing then football players would leave the state in droves because no schools would come here to recruit because their scholarships are already given out. The last thing Kentucky football needs is less exposure on the recruiting trail. It won’t work. Period.
  21. As someone who played 80-100 games every summer and played fall baseball as well, fall baseball sucks. Every one is worn out, school had just started back, and honestly you’re just tired of baseball. Basketball is similar with AAU but AAU stops around when school starts and you have a month or more off before October 15th. Having baseball in the fall you would jump straight from summer season to high school ball. That would be miserable. Your argument still doesn’t account for the need for having a camp for football. Teams absolutely need that time. There is simply no time for it while school is going on. It has to be done in the summer. It simply makes zero sense to me why anyone would want to switch the seasons.
  22. High school coaches do a much better job of protecting arms than summer coaches do. The goal should be to have the high school teams at full strength heading in the season. I think we would all agree to that. The best way to do that is for it to remain in the spring.
  23. Kids aren’t going to stop playing summer ball. They get infinitely more recognition and their name out there from that than they do high school ball. You want to follow up a summer season where kids are playing 80-100 games in 3 months with another season in the fall where they play 30 more games? Insane.
  24. I don’t want to be this blunt about it, but no that’s a horrible idea. As far as baseball, it’s horrible because kids have been playing all summer long leading to potential injuries, pitchers arms being worn out, etc. For football they need those summer practices and camps before school starts for install purposes. You just simply couldn’t do that over let’s say Christmas break due to family obligations etc. Just would never work. Also you said tradition be damned, but there is nothing wrong with the tradition.
  25. This is where I’m at as well.
