  1. Alan Hennesey RB James Quick WR Brian Brohm QB
  2. I will bet there is no fundamental change. But, this QB will excercise the option of running more often than recent QBs because he has this ability. He is rated as a three star athlete by Rivals, not QB. He can throw the ball quite well.
  3. My main issue is the differences between officials' choice when blowing the ball ready for play.
  4. At least Mike Glaser won't stop to ask me if I am spying on the Tigers!:lol2:
  5. It's hard to show improvement on 13-1 and a State Championship. Maintain and the Rocks bring home #23. Pure and simple! I suppose finishing in the top ten in the "national polls" would be an improvement. :thumb:
  6. This helps remove the sting of last season's last second loss. I'm sure the Rocks enjoyed winning on Paul M Young Field at Thomas More Stadium! Outstanding!!!!
  7. I know of a few places where new staffs have done everything they can within legal limits to run off a kid they deem undesirable. Sometimes the kid sticks it out and buys into the program and may even become a starter. Most retire from football. No cuts. Dress limits may exist.
  8. Attendance normally decreases significantly in football when playing an opponent a second time, even if it is your biggest rival.
  9. Trinity in Louisville does not permit early graduation. No tuition rebates ;-)
  10. I am happy to finally read about the game. The fact there was no score to be found as of 1AM this morning had me concerned about alien body snatchers overtaking Ft. Thomas area. Trinity evened their record at 14-14. The Rocks apparently needed the 11 run outburst to escape the nest with a victory. See you all in St. Matthews in August.
  11. Did at least one Bluegrass Preps member attend? Nothing on KHSAA scoreboard. Same for Enquirer.
  12. First time opponents in 2013: Ensworth, Carmel, Lawrence Central, Colerain, and Marist. The last time Trinity faced this many "FIRSTS" was in 1977. :thumb:
  13. From the Tennessean Ensworth has signed a two-year contract to play Kentucky football power Trinity. The Tigers will visit the Shamrocks on Aug. 23 in a season opener that likely will be broadcast on one of ESPN’s networks, Ensworth coach Ricky Bowers said. Ensworth will host Trinity in 2014. The Tigers were ranked eighth nationally, and Trinity was 14th in USA TODAY’s final poll last season. Ensworth has won the last three Division II-AA titles. Trinity has won 10 Kentucky titles in the past 12 years and 22 overall. The Shamrocks have won the last three Class 6A championships.
  14. Shamrocks are playing a ten game regular schedule in 2013. Ensworth had an open date 8/23 and are filling the last gap in Trinity's slate. Six home dates at Marshall Stadium.
  15. As long as there are college scholarships to be earned, there will be young football players.
  16. found out from buddy that there will not be a return game with Chicago Marist in 2014. Also heard negotiatons are still pending with TN school for a sixth home game in 2013. Reserved tickets will be slightly more expensive. No plans at Trinity to allow Catholic school girls free admission.
  17. No Trinity coach was ever dragged through the dirt like Donlon, Bergamini, and Glaser.
  18. Marist is a Class 8A Co-ed Catholic School with approx. 1720 students.
