  1. They may I guess we will find out at 7:30.
  2. I believe he will rest tonight to be ready for the big game Friday. I may be wrong though.
  3. 2013 10th Region Finals Rematch. Montgomery has to do something seriously wrong to lose this game.
  4. Ohmer is known for doing the samething, he plays best when either down or he is physically outmatched. Adversity brings out the best of the young man.
  5. Jake Ohmer was thrown into the starting lineup at Scott without any notice after jr. Blake Schneider suffered a broken rib. Yes he lacks size, but other than that he ceases to amaze everyone. I would say he is averaging 15-19 pts a game as well as 4 or 5 boards and 7 assists or so. Would be nice if Scott would submit stats on the KHSAA website!
  6. Do you have trouble reading? ;)
  7. Covington Catholic, Ballard, Trinity, Montgomery County are teams I would take over Hopkinsville, but in basketball especially at the HS level any team can beat any team on any given night. There is no outright favorite if you match H-Ville with any team in the state ranked in the top 30 or so.
  8. I predict....... The game being cancelled :thumb: Mother Nature wins by default..
  9. There are a handfull of players who play in the SWOL league. Doesn't make them a standout player. You see some of the better players play on strictly tournament teams like in the Bluegrass or Colonels organizations.
  10. Congrats Corey, should fit in well at Lindsey Wilson.
  11. Over the summer teams wouldn't even attempt to run on him, he was picking kids off on a regular basis at first and third. I do recall one time over the river at Rumpke, he picked off a runner who was taunting him at second, something you don't see on a normal basis.
  12. Blake Schneider has been cleared to play for Scott after being sidelined 5 weeks due to a broken rib. The Eagles will finally start seeing some consistent guard play and some leadership, they have lacked both for the past several weeks.
  13. One of the top freshman in NKY and maybe the state is Highlands catcher Ethan Doty. He has a tremendous work ethic and is solid offensively as well as defensively. Pitching wise, he already is being clocked at 82-83 mph as well as the nastiest cutter I have seen from a high school ball player in a while.
  14. I believe they can't get any busses to start in the frigid temps.
  15. Kenton county School Board will not allow busses to leave the lot.
  16. I just feel bad for the kids of Cov Latin honestly. It's no fun to be in that position ever. But remember basketball is more then just wins and losses, especially at the high school level.
  17. It appears Mason County is closed again tomorrow, I assume they won't be able to play tomorrow.
  18. No, they have a coach who seems to be able to get his kids to all buy in. Honestly what I have seen from Billy is nothing special! Unless I caught him on a bad game.
  19. Mason County is going to come to Holmes and surprise everyone. Royals 72-67
  20. When teams were shaking hands after the game, Hatton pulled Jake aside and had some nice stuff to say regarding how well he played.
  21. Ohmer and Hatton both played in the NKY TarHeels AAU organization. Jake grew up watching Hatton on the AAU circuit and in his early days at Dixie. Pretty neat he gets to play against him.
  22. Like I said, Scott desperately needs Schneider back.
