4 point game multiple times late, Dixie goes on run in 4th quarter and pushes the margin with free throws. Off night for Hatton shooting the ball, freshman for Scott played well as did the big boy down low. Unfortunately for Scott, the big boy was in foul trouble most of the game.

I assume "the big boy" is Crim. Kid can play.

Dixie looked a little sluggish in the first half. Scott's thin bench did not help them in the 2nd half. The Ohmer kid can shoot... has a hard time creating his own shot.

 

The Dixie student section gets a "D-" for not knowing what the "Truffle Shuffle" was.

I agree... I really like his game and I like his demeanor. Plays real hard, but calm and under control. Some of his offensive game reminds me of old school NBA.

Ohmer and Crim both impressed me for Scott. Jake is going to be really good over the next few years if he can grow a few inches..

Ohmer and Hatton both played in the NKY TarHeels AAU organization. Jake grew up watching Hatton on the AAU circuit and in his early days at Dixie. Pretty neat he gets to play against him.

When teams were shaking hands after the game, Hatton pulled Jake aside and had some nice stuff to say regarding how well he played.

Austin Schreck had another double /double 12pts. 13 rebounds with Hatton adding 23 points . Becoming quite a tandem they been missing . Along with Rabe leading the point and the bigs Hedger and Neihaus and Moore giving good minutes could be a team no one wants to play during tournament time.Ohmer very good but shows his age , going to be a excellent player come senior year. I would of liked to see Blake Schneider out there tonight but I think Dixie's defense is really stepping up and he would of been a non -factor .
