The US Army Combine is a nomination and acceptance process. Definitely a cool event in the Alamodome: 2018 Link There is a guy on Twitter who Scouts and rates Ohio High School players (Mark Porter). He is a no cost to players and makes his $ off of the Schools using his services. He is a big proponent of skipping events like this, because you are most likely in the worst shape of the year and with the Laser timing for the 40, you most likely won't get the results you want to send to coaches. Found the ratings for 13 KY players from last years combine. Fastest 40's barely broke 5.0, with >84% running slower than 5 flat. With a National event like this there is a great opportunity for exposure and comparison, but you need to train prior. Justin is interested and has applied to the posted position. He has great rapport with the players and can deal with the parents. He has been a 3 season coach at CC and has the football acumen.

Current CC Freshman Head Coach, Justin Mason. Has 5 years Varsity Coaching experience, 4 under Coach Styers (2 of those as DC), and coached DL for Coach Lickert. Also has coached the past 3 years as Freshman head coach with some great results.

I did not infer that. I was only communicating what I observed with the intimate field in Louisville. I like being that close to the action. My stay classy reference was to the fans rather than the players.

Visiting players at CC are in front of the stands, but rather removed from them. Players are insulated by a 10 foot walk way and then an 8 lane track. CC fans are usually too busy trying to call the CC offense to mess with the visiting team. Trinity was a rather intimate setting, more college like, with the fans right on top of the field. I quite liked it. Really let you feel part of the game listening to the green team d lineman dropping the F bombs. Stay classy T
