  1. Wow, can you comprehend anything? Read my posts again. Don't be so offended because someone else actually has better numbers right now. Since you are so stuck on offers. Please tell us all the 8 DI schools that offered Tanner Morgan scholarships.
  2. Again, how many of those DI coaches even know Jarod Lonaker is alive? Those DI coaches didn't discover Tanner by going to Ryle games on Friday nights.
  3. So you are saying that more pass attempts but less yards and about half the number of TD's means the qb with the worse stats means he is better. Got it! Lol Again, I feel like you are taking this personal for some reason. I don't know if you're Tanners dad or not but you are misunderstanding what I've been saying. Not once did I say Tanner Morgan won't finish the season on top. I simply said at this point of the season Lonaker is having a better season so far. Hey in the end Morgan wins, he is getting a full ride and a free college education. Winner winner chicken dinner.
  4. Not knowing if Lonaker has even gone to any camps i can't answer that question. You do realize offers does not garuntee the better qb don't you? Most offers come with zero thought about what goes on Friday nights. HHS qb last year is perfect example of that. Already had DI offer before even taking a varsity snap as starting qb. Many DI players are getting attention long before even starting a varsity game. Camps have more to do with recruiting than anything else. If a player doesn't put himself out there then he will get very little attention.
  5. Already showed that. Now don't get me wrong, I am by no means saying Jarod Lonaker has better QB tools etc or stronger arm etc. that isn't what I've said at all. What I did say was at this point of the season Lonaker has as far as being a qb goes, had a better season according to KHSAA. Going into game 4 he was 4th in the state and Morgan was 14th. Lonaker had less pass attempts but over 200 yards more passing yards and almost twice as many TD's as Morgan. It can't be any clearer than that. I personally think a very key stat was pass attempts. I say this because some may want to say Morgan runs an balanced offense and doesn't have to throw the ball around a lot to win games. The only problem with that line of thought is that Morgan has thrown it more than Lonaker yet Lonakers numbers were still better. Just like last year in the NFL. Dalton had an MVP like season until he got hurt, does that mean in the end people would think he is better than Arron Rodgers? This just like last years NFL season was just that, about the current season.
  6. I'd say Snow is the best yet. I think others that have been mentioned were also very good but what puts Snow above them for me is the supporting cast around him. The others have overlapped their careers in the team but Snow this year hasn't come close to having the supporting cast and as I've seen has only upped his game. What he is doing this year I don't seem to recall any former player able to do.
  7. The silence is kind of deafening in this thread from someone lol.
  8. Isn't it already pretty trivial? Yes it's pretty cool tradition to be named the states best football player, but when you actually look at how its rewarded you realize just as most awards it becomes nothing but a popularity contest. When an award is determined more by what colleges are recruiting said players than the actual best player in the state, well it loses some if its meaning if you ask me.
  9. I know of 2 in the last 4-5 years. Quick and Fant. I may be mistaken but I think that's right.
  10. Who knows? What does that matter anyway? You could ask the same question for every player in the state ..... what if....doesn't change the fact. You do realize last week Hendrix only had 1 reception and Lonaker still threw for 344 yards and 3 TD's don't you?
  11. Fair enough. I was simply pointing out the fact it does happen even when some act as if it's a rarity.
  12. I think you see many teams two offenses due to injury. If you can't change then you will always be one dimensional and if injury to key player(s) happen then you will not be very competitive.
  13. But I thought you inferred that isn't the case. That all or close to all the players come from HHS district. To me it makes no difference. Just bothersome when some try to act as if it doesn't happen.
  14. Actually he hasn't, not that it matters
  15. And there sits the problem with the award.
  16. This entire conversation I stupid. Sorry RCC I understand what you are trying to say but reality is different. The schools that have always had the most success are those that could draw from other districts etc. you can deny all you want about the advantages Highlands has had in the past but it's true. Another post already pointed out some very key athletes HHS had in the past to help them get titles that weren't from that district. I always wondered why some on here have a problem with admitting the truth. It happens and everyone knows it. Trying to act like it doesn't happen is stupid. This site having a rule that you can't even use the "R" word is just as stupid. It goes on period. I've seen it happen at pee wee fields. I've been approached about my son playing at another school not in Boone county when he was in pee wee. It happens. Boone county having as many public schools and closed enrollment will prevent them from ever being a power for more than a short stretch.
  17. Well right now according to KHSAA Jarod Lonaker is ranked 4th in the state and Tanner Morgan is ranked 14th. Lonaker on that site has less pass attempts thru 3 games than Morgan but 200 more yards and almost twice as many TD's than Morgan.
  18. Without Dante Hendrix even being considered is a joke, not only that but having Tanner Morgan on the list when he isn't even the best QB in his own district just yet speaks volumes on how biased the Mr Football list can be.
  19. No they don't. There are plenty of public schools.
  20. Male also has open enrollment. Ryle doesn't. People may scoff at that but it is an advantage. Just look at the big schools that do have that option and you see why schools like SK have dominated up here and why the Males etc are a perennial powerhouse.
  21. Conner may be knocking on the door for the top 10. I'm really interested to see the final of the Scott Co and Lafayette game.
  22. I think 3, 4 and 5 will sort themselves out in the next couple weeks. I think you can flip a coin right now for 3, 4 and 5 and I think you could do the same right now for 1 and 2.
  23. Nobody, that's what I said, we don't recruit. I was referring to the difference in a open and closed enrollment districts...(Boone and Kenton comparison) Recruiting may not be the proper term but was meant kids can't go to any public school they wish in a closed enrollment district.
