They cry worse at the Highlands games.Every call that goes against them is wrong lol.Heres the deal check the scoreboard.Game over THE BEST TEAM WON.NCC had a great year they should be proud.And for 1 I dont care if the kid made the shot or not it was without a doubt the best 1 on 1 move I have seen all year.And guess what the many D1 scouts in the stands dont care if the shot went in either!!!!!

I agree with you that winning the district would have led to a easier path.But I have watched them play no less than 10 games this year they turn it on when needed.And im not saying they didnt want to win, but the nature of this team is to only give maximum effort when their backs are against the wall.A good example was the first game against NCC when they only showed up and played for about 1 qt.And that is NOT a good thing.Holmes has the talent to blow any team in the 9th out of the gym on any given night,but it only surfaces in spurts.

I have watched both teams play many times this year.It was very clear early in the season who the best team in the region is and the best team won.I know Holmes tripped up late in the season in 2 meaningless games.When the season is on the line they step up.NCC us a close second but NO DOUBT Holmes is the best team to repesent the 9th downsatate.

He is the first baseman.Average player not D1 skills.The region is kind of weak at that position.Besides the Stevens kid from Lloyd I cant think of a top end player in the region

I think Hart will be behind the plate if his attitude changes.The kid has above average talent but this is classic example of why your dad should not be your coach at this age.We were scouting a kid from his summer team last year and got a chance to see him play several games.I know Hart is younger than he plays but he acts about 12 years old on the field unless his attitude gets a huge adjustment he will probally see most games from the bench.Just one mans opinion.

I have 3 under the radar guys I have been watching. Q. Murray from The Birds.Wont overpower you but pounds the zone and throws strikes and has a great breaking ball. Cameron Ross from Conner again cant beat you with his fastball but has a great curveball and throws strikes. Codi Krebs lefty from Lloyd throws hard and throws strikes ive seen him several times scouting summer ball I would rate him a notch above the Brown kid from Lloyd

Holmes will win going away.NCC does not have the athletics to play with the Bulldogs.I have seen them play 3 times this year and they keep getting better everytime I see them.No one in the 9th region can stay with them holmes 68-54

Thats great have never seen him play but heard great things about him.But he needs a better nickname kinda corney lol

I have Ryle on my sleeper list.They are for sure not THE TEAM TO BEAT by any means..500 IS A REALISTIC GOAL.I have them on my short list of sleepers that include Boone Co.,Lloyd,St. Henry and Ryle

MLB Scouts NEVER gaurentee anything.Tanner is a great player dont see him as a top mlb prospect at this point.I have heard the kid struggels in the classroom and has very little intrest in going to college.Again just what I heard.But to say MLB Souts are promising anything this is hog wash they just dont do that.

1.Fogal Conner--- probally the best overall athelete in NKY will probally play football. 2. Teberi Holy Cross----nice left handed bat hits the gaps well pure hitter Committed to UL 3. Callery Holy Cross-- sweet swing hits for average committed to Ohio U 4. Stevens--Lloyd best first baseman in the region 6 foot 5 frame smooth swing high average needs to hit the weights to add power committed to Mt. St Jo. 5.Shreiver- Cov Cath honest have not seen alot of him but heard great things not sure on School. 6.

I have Callery on my list right next to Tiberi.As far as Cain I have him in my second tier.Just dont think he in the elite like the 5 I mentioned.

And you have to go watch these hitters dont reley on batting ave.Example whoever does the Holy Cross book is VERY GENOROUS.I watched a game last year where Teberi walked and hit 2 balls to short that were very routine that the kid made bad throws and a pop up to right that was dropped book should have read 0-3 with a walk.Paper next day was 3-3- with a walk.Not picking on Holy Cross sure it goes on everywhere.

My top 3 in the 9th are 1. NCC 2. Highlands 3. Cov Cath. Some of the top hitters will be Tiberi- Callery Holy Cross Fogel- Conner Shreiver- Cov Cath Stevens- Lloyd Im sure I am leaving some off the list but that is what comes to mind as I write this

As I stated MY OPINION didnt ask for agreemant.I know for a fact in last years districts Mullins voted the losing pitcher for another team to the district team who lost the game for his team by walking and hitting three batters in the last inning in front of a player who had the game winning RBI just because he plays on his summer team.I have a nephew who plays at St. Henry so I know for fact what I say when I say the majority of the players are glad to see Mullins leave and lobbied for Doug to get the job.

He was upset and rightfully so that his son Kevin didnt get picked by coach Mullins for the district team.Coach Mullins picked players that did not deserve the honor just because they play on his summer team.I agree Coach Pedicord could have handled the situation better but it is what it is.Doug is a great teacher of the game and all the kids respect him that is more than I can say for the previous coach.Keep in mind this is just my opinion.

Congrads to Doug.I went to Highlands when he played at Scott.HE threw smoke.He is a all round good guy.Would love to him get a chance at St. Henry.My nephew plays at St. Henry and I can tell you kids respect him.

I have seen a few of Lloyds games looking at a few players last year.Besides Brown and Stevens who do they have coming back?Thats a pretty good 3-4 combo but is there anyone to protect them in the lineup?And hows the pitching look besides Brown?
