Wow this may be Ludlows year.lol.I was not aware the Dixie lost so many starters. I think Lloyd lost some starters and I know St. Henrys well is dry Villa Madona is never a threat.I think Lloyd will be ok I know they have the Stevens kid who can play also Brown is a solid pitcher but not sure who else is coming back.

Anyone have any insight on the new coach at St. Henry? Also how do they look for next year compared to what the other teams in their district have.I know Dixie should be the favorite.

I watch more hs baseball than anyone that doesnt have a kid playing lol.I do some part time scouting for a local small college.I can tell you Beechwood has more young talent than anyone I have seen in a long time.Future looks good for them,Anyone they would have brought in would do a good job they are stacked with young players should be a force in the region for next few years.

Yes he did a great job last year.I was at the district game when they played Lloyd in the semis.Bad coaching decisions by Lloyd helped alot.But congrads to Beechwood sounds like they got the guy they wanted.

Your right if he would have been honest and told them he was interested in the Beechwood job they probally would have said dont let the door hit you on the way out.I think St. Henry is better off without him I have a nephew in the program,I think he is very overrated I just wish he would have given them time to find another qualified replacement.

Classey of him to wait til now to abandon the program at St. Henery if he would have told them earlier he was leaving and taking all the staff maybe they could have found a repalcement.:confused:

Yes im sure I have left off alot of talented hitters.This is just based on what I have seen and talking to some scouts that I know.I do know they love the Fogel kid from Conner alot but he is intrested in football more than baseball.Cain is getting alot of attention as well.Q Murray from the hill stock has risen big time.Walsh from CC is still not comitted a far as I know but I also think he is a better football player and may want to pursue that.Stevens from Lloyd is another Senior who is being looked at but I think he has committed to MSJ.Like I said I know I have left off some solod names.

You need to get out and see Cain.Without a doubt the best senior in the region.Just has great composer on the mound.He is in our district and I have seen him since he was a freshman.Also Maines if he can control his emotions can be very effective.Hoard has a great curveball but sometimes can get a little wild.Dunn from Cooper has a great fastball but a good hitter can adjust.Brown from Lloyd has a good arm but his breaking and off speed stuff are weak and he cant get a good hitter out.Remember these are just opinions of what I have seen.

Yes we also had Bioni and a solid number 2 pitcher a kid by the name of Phetzer.

Conner-Strong hitting with Fogel,Maines solid pitchng Cooper-Solid pitching Dixie-well its a weak district lol Lloyd-same weak district pretty good pitching with Brown solid hitting seniors Stevens- Brown will both have solid years Holy Cross-Tiberi will take them a long way. Cov Cath-Good pitching solid bats New Cath-Cain will lead the team in hitting and will be the best pitcher in the region this year. HHS-Nice group coming back Murray and Heck will both have solid years

Of the pitchers you listed.It is a good list indeed.You left out the top 2 pitchers for sure in Cain and Tiberi. 1.Cain has above average fastball and good changeup.Throws strikes and attacks the zone hard for sure the best senior in the area.Fastball mid 80 2.Tiberi may not pitch this year but has a strong arm good control and nice breaking ball.Fastball high 80,s 3. Maines. Strong arm a bit of a head case on the mound but is getting better with that with age.Good big game pitcher with nice changeup.Sometimes can walk too many.fastball mid 80,s 4. Brown strong arm but not good control can over power a weak team but cant seem to win the big game.Too many walks also fastball low to mid 80,s

Nortin- Western ect... Tiberi- Louisville Cain-Northern Murray- Cambelsville Stevens-Thomas Moore Walsh-Ohio U-Baylor Not sure on any others

We could have played last year in the regional if Cov Cath could have got past a weak Dixie team lol.Every year Cov Cath is over rated this year will be no exception.

My opinion on top hitters 2013 are...... 1.Norton-Brossart 2.Tiberi- Holy Cross 3.Cain-NCC 4.Murray -Birds 5.Stevens-Lloyd 6.Mains-Conner 7.Walsh-CC 8.Padgett-Conner 9.Wilson-Owen Co 10.Fogle-Conner .

Oh ok sorry.Is this better I agree the Scott hitters are great.And I think Brown will win the Cy Young some day lol.So here is my opinion on the thread. Top 3 pitchers for 2013 1. Cain from NCC 2. Maines from Conner 3.Tiberi from Holy Cross---- if he decides to pitch. please take note im a Highlands fan and didnt put any of our kids on the list..... and as far as stats go big deal they can be padded by throwing a kid in easy spots

Sorry wasnt trying to be DOWN on anybody just giving a honest opinion.So calling Scott hitters average is being down????? and questioning coaches decisions to leave a kid in who was spent is being down?? Im aware of what he did at St. Henery last year.I am also aware its a wek district and Dixie had a weak team.Also I ws at the district semi when a average Lloyd team had him beat.If not for poor coaching decisions by Lloyd to leave a done pitcher in they would have lost.
