    3 plays and the Cards forced to punt.. PT starts at there own 43 yd line..7:30 to go in the half..

    The Cardinals start at there own 20 after a touchback.

    Mayfield drives it from there own 20 down to the Tilghman 15 yd line, but, Jackson gets stripped and the Tornado defender picked it up and ran it back 85 yds for a touchdown, PAT good, score now knotted at 14 all, with little over 8:00 to go in 2nd qtr.

    After an incomplete pass, the Tornados opt to go for a FG from abt 51 yds that had enough leg but went wide right. Mayfield will take over at there own 20 yd line.

    At the end of 1 qtr 14-7 Mayfield leads. PT will start the 2nd qtr with a 3rd and 8 at the Mayfield 36 yd line.

    The Tornado started there next drive at there own 10 yd line, picked up good yardage but eventually were forced to punt and backed the Cards up to there own 2 yd line and they couldn't do anything with it and had to punt it back to the Blue, who starts this drive at the cardinal 38 yd line.

    The Cardinal score came on a 32 yd pass from Guhy to Brown.. The Cardinals have it again after an int on PTs 1st play from scrimmage after the kickoff, giving the Cardinals the ball at the Tornado 26 yd line

    The Cardinals answer right back on there 1st drive after a nice return, with a 3 play, 51 yd drive, but, PAT was blocked, so, PT still leads 7-6..

    Tilghman strikes 1st with a nice 75 yd opening drive and tacks on the extra point to go up 7-0 with 9:45 to go in 1st qtr.. The Tornado converted on 3 3rd and long situations during the drive, capped by a 21 yd scoring strike on a 3rd and 11..

    I think it says more about how bad Marshall Co is, at least with all the kids out sick, moreso than how good Tilghman is..

    I think JHardin and BGreen are a tossup for the top spot, with WCentral, Cooper at 3 and 4 and in either order, then Franklin Co, Conner at 5-6 and also in either order.. After those 6, throw about 10 in a hat and draw em out because there's not alot of difference..

    I didn't know that what Highlands did the last 5 years had any bearing on what they'd do this year against Cooper. Towles, Collingsworth and Co aren't still playing, are they? I understand they have great tradition, but, who's to say Scott Co isn't way down from last year and Boyle, too, for that matter..

    I think Central is the clearcut #1 team.. They deserve that ranking until proven otherwise.. I think you could throw Breathitt, Tilghman, Bell Co and Belfry in a hat and pull them out in any order and wouldn't get too much complaint.. I do think there's a signifigant dropoff after those 5 teams.. Some pretty good teams, probably 8-9 that could make the Top 10 at some point this year, but, none at the level of the 1st 5 and none I'd consider a real Championship contender...

    Meade's just too big and physical for JH to handle. They'll keep it close for a half, maybe 3 qtrs, but, by the 4th, all Meade.. I'll say in the neighborhood of 42-21..

    Picking 2a is like a crap shoot right now. Several teams not even in the rankings that could certainly be in the Top 5 before the year's up.. Bardstown? Prestonsburg? Desales? Also, look out for Hancock Co and Butler Co.. Both these teams could be bigtime darkhorses this year.

    I'd probably still have Harlan in there somewhere. They manhandled a good Pikeville team and then Williamsburg made a statement against them. Glad to see Williamsburg get recognized for there big win. That's probably as impressive a win in 1a this year. The Frankfort win over Rockcastle was another solid 1a win. Can't really argue with the Top 4, but, after that, I think you could throw the next 7-8 teams in a hat and wouldn't be too much of an argument..

    Green Co may be a little too deep and talented for the Panthers, but, should be a good game...I say GC 35 FF 28

    Carr's Barn would be my choice.. Good steaks and fair prices.. Majestic Pizza and Steakhouse is also a good choice.. Other than those 2, it's pretty thin pickins unless you like fast food..

    Who really cares if they did or didn't scout a practice.. As far as I know, it's not illegal to do it and if a team wants to see what they may be facing in a week or 2 or 3, more power to them.. I don't think it has a thing in the world to do with class.. Just a team trying to get a headsup on an opponent.. Good for them if they did and if they didn't, that's no biggie either.. No harm, no foul..

    Thank you, Guru. Is there anyway that ya'll can pin those to the top of the forum each week? Once the games get going with all the updates and finals, you end up having to search 5 pages to find them.
