Walton will win their district and will be second best 2A team in NKY including Gallatin, Owen, etc.... to NCC!

well, they won. A scrimmage is about trying some new things out and ironing some wrinkles. Scott ran power and counter at will. Castleman was over 100 on 6 carries and sat out rest of half. WV, is so fundamental and tough was up for a fight and their only score was on the JV because they had their freshmen scrimmage against WV's freshmen. Games and bragging rights are not won in August. Lets re-evaluate things in November. That's about when we will discuss all the talent in Independence and they can't win their district and most will call for Marksberry's job. Happens every year in Southern Kenton County. Bank on IT!!

Great in transition. Needs to learn to be more assertive. Scott will only go as far as Blake takes them!! Great kid!!

"I recommend that you not stir up trouble where none is necessary." per NKY PETE That is awful bold to say on a website to another person!

Rodney Woods and Jon Jones are $$$$!

I am only familiar with NKY: Sam Elsbrand-Scott formerly a Navy intel Officer and of the State Champion Holmes Bulldogs JV Coach at Holmes believe his name is Ross.

i believe 7:30 @Scott

Nah. Its a scrimmage, neither team will show much.

Is Barker an early graduate and enrolls at UK early? Is Walton going to continue the momentum forward? Will Holy Cross tackle anyone not playing for Dayton? Is this the year UK Fan wakes up and realizes SK is just an average 6A team? Does Scott live up to expectations of the community or are they S.O.S. D.Y? (Same ol' Scott, Different year? Does Beechwood return to Western KY? Lots of new faces in Coaching Ranks in NKY. How many have success? How great is the Trinity and St. X game look? Is NCC rebuilding or reloading?

Okay, third best team!!

new Coach is not bad either. I am sure he was using basketball to teach a life lesson. Maybe that moment was a teachable moment. Coaches don't sit their best players unless they are in foul trouble or a "point" needs to be made.

Ex-coach was a GENIUS!!:dancingpa

Everyone assumes I am talking about Scott and SK. You know what assumes means, right?

CovCath is not a public Kenton Co School or is in the District. I am referring to Scott, Sk, and Dixie

Camels, Mustangs, and Eagles are going to be very good. They will be 3 of the top 5 in the Region again.

All I will say is....... records at end of the year won't lie.

Williamstown is a very bad team at this moment due to the very young players. That is not a good judge of his ability. District seeding games would show true ability (for ex: vs. Scott, Brossart, and/or Campbell Co.)

Wasn't talking about CovCath. Was speaking of the being second best among Kenton County School District.

Super athletic and very good defensively. He needs to work on finishing with left hand and his jump shot. He needs to play for a good AAU team if he wants to be taken seriously.

they are the second best team in Kenton County

I am a huge fan of small schools having came from one; so I am a huge Brent Bach fan as I was a Cory Pelle fan. However, in watching Montgomery County several times last year and at State Tourney, Bryan Wallace is best all around player between the 2. His pressure defense on opposing guards ( vs. Brossart in Regional Semifinal and in State tourney) is very, very good. However, Alex Trentman has biggest impact in blocking shots, steals, rebounding (offensive/defensive) and the ability to knock down open 3's makes him best player in region with Wallace on his heels.

I respect you Big Fundamental but I promise you, at end of January you will owe Mr. Schneider an apology.

He didn't play because they had a PG who was a 3 year starter. This kid played really, really well at NKU's team camp and from what I heard dominated the team camp at East Central. I am very confident in stating him in my top 10. Scott is a PG program. Obviously, you know very little about the program. He WILL have a better year than Dre Jackson and much more of an impact than Matt Wilson. Let me give you some info. In scouting the big 3 in that district (Brossart, Camels, Eagles) in big games for the Camels it was McGovney and Holbrook show. Against average competition both Jackson and Wilson played well. In both Brossart and Scott games for the Camels neither was a threat to score and liability on Defense.
