Boyle has been down the last two years. They'll fall even further this year. In October look for the thread entitled What Happened to Boyle County? As for Mercer. Most of the O-Line returns. Quarterback Drew Davis returns. Russell Sims and Chris Goodman return at receiver. Plenty of running backs in the stable to replace James Johnson. He won't be hard to replace anyways. Braxton Bradshaw should fill in nicely. Defensively they return enough and overall as a team they are returning more than Boyle County is. I've only seen 3 kids named returning for Boyle and that's Boyle County fans that can only name 3 kids. You tell me what Boyle has coming back for Mercer to be scared of.

It should be one of the best Mercer/Boyle games in recent history.

I'll believe it when I see it. It wouldn't be the first time a team has had a running clock against them one year only to defeat that team the following year. Boyle loses way too much to even consider a running clock being put on Mercer and Mercer returns a large percentage of that team that remembers that running clock. Mercer will defeat Boyle. You'll see.

Boyle will go 5-5. They'll lose to Warren Central, Anderson County, Danville, Lexington Catholic and Mercer County. Then they'll lose in the first round of the playoffs and then Larry French will retire. Be prepared for Mercer to become the second best team in their district from now on.

That other site is horrible. Not just for stuff like this but it is just a plain horrible site.

I've been to the gym and it is a great great gym. I wish they would hold the 12th Region tournament there. I'm just laughing at Harrodsburg hosting ESPN. It seems surreal but you are right. There are many more less favorable places to have this kind of event.

I had heard something about an ESPN game at Mercer but I didn't believe it and I'll believe it when I see it. I do hope it happens though. The gym will be packed if Prime Prep comes. A beautiful sea of blue is what it would be. I just have a hard time believing something like that would end up in Harrodsburg of all places. That's laughable. I do love Coach Britt though. He's a great guy and that Christmas tournament is always well run and does have some quality teams year in and year out. Montgomery County was there this year and they couldn't win that tournament either. That should tell you how tough that tournament is. I think Johnson Central and Warren Central were there too. I hope this happens. I'll be there. Maybe they can get the Mercer County Titans on ESPN and not just their gym.

It makes my eyes hurt.....and then I am hypnotized.....and then I can't stop.......make it stop....... I don't see anything wrong with putting out feelers for coaches before you make a decision on whether you want a new coach or not. Did Miller deserve to be let go? It doesn't seem like it but things like this happen in life. Was it the right decision? We'll find out when the feelers are answered and the new coach takes over.

Let me rephrase since you didn't understand the point I was trying to make. Wayne County is a better team that what it seemed yesterday. Yes, against the 11th region the 12th region sucked from top to bottom. As would most regions. The 11th region is at worst the 3rd best region in the state. That is why I said we knew the outcome of this game when we saw the draw. Wayne County could have easily gotten a better draw and made the semis. That's all I was saying before you told us stuff we already knew.

You couldn't be more wrong. We wouldn't be talking about race had he not mentioned that he spoke with two black gentlemen in the first place. Should he get a medal or something for speaking with another race? He makes it sound like it isn't possible to have great conversations with black gentlemen so he had to point out how great it was to speak to two black gentlemen. Good for him. Did he meet his quota for the year?
