Those Mercer fans are long gone too. As PP said, everyone in 4A knows their fate. Realistically speaking we play for a region championship on Friday. A region championship that no one gave us a chance to win. Our game against Boyle was so insignificant in so many eyes that nobody bothered to start a prediction thread about it and if anyone did start one then no one commented because I sure never saw one. I'll also be clear. I am not the voice for Mercer County football. Don't hate on Mercer fans or their past success because of me. I don't hate Highlands because of their fans who like to jump into things that aren't their concern. Mercer fans deserve the same respect. Address me with your concerns but leave the others alone. I guess we see things differently. In the Boyle County 2013 thread on page two I answered calls of my name and my broken computer and apologized. PP is the only person that acknowledged me. And also keep in mind that you injected yourself into this argument. I was talking to Birdsfan from the jump about his LC cruising through Mercer comment(that spawned its own thread from the founder of BGP) and after looking back through the correct thread its funny how Birdsfan injected himself into that one also. So let me get this straight. I talk junk, you guys talk junk back, I apologize, you ignore that, I talk junk again and then you all respond. If I didn't know better I'd think you guys had a problem with the truth. 1 out of 5? Sure. That 1 means we play Friday. For a regional championship. What are your plans this Friday? Excuse me, what are Boyle's plans for this Friday?

I'm enjoying watching Grayson Blevins play. Dustin Baker also. I hope Tanner Robins is able to play again. He'd be an excellent QB.

To his credit, PP has said things like what you mention. I don't think there are too many people in this area shocked by the outcome of tonight's game. We all saw it coming.

What is the proper way to show respect for an opponent before a game?

LC beat us 34-6 in the first meeting. It was Chris Crawley-Goodman's first start at QB and we fumbled the ball way too many times in that game. The rematch will be much different than the first game. I expect to see the Bluebirds in Harrodsburg the day after Thanksgiving. Our season will be over after that. We made great strides tonight and Pardue has electrified the program. A regional championship will be a stepping stone for the future.

When Boyle beat Mercer 14-0 they called me out quick. Shoe's on the other foot when the game matters and here I am talking to myself.
