Hawkins 25 for MC in the win.

Just complete dominance from Madison Central.

Haven't really kept up with HS ball this year, are they considered one of the favorites? Looked awful good today.

Hawkins vs. Bolden (assuming Holmes advances) will be a heck of a battle in the quarterfinals.

Yes. MC has been a top 5 team all year. Same can be said last year. I haven't seen Holmes, but would think it would take a very outstanding effort to detour MC from the final. But, that's why they lace em up.

^ Probably the favorite to come out of the top half.

Not sure if anyone put it on here yet or not but Calipari, Antigua and Payne (UK) and Ray Harper (WKU) were in attendance to watch Dominique.

Wayne County has a fine team but they were completely overmatched here. The good news for Wayne is that almost everyone returns next year. Madison Central could well win the whole thing.

Even if Holmes does advance, which I'm doubtful of, I don't think Bolden would stand a chance against a player as good as Hawkins. Bolden = overrated in my opinion.

Bolden is not overrated...........Now he is a sophomore, but not overrated.

I watched Bolden live for the first time in the 9th region championship. Very impressive for a Soph.

Chris Mack disagrees with your assessment.

Disagree. Bolden is getting scholarship offers from schools (already) that are better than anything Hawkins has received. Both are great players, but if I had to pick one to be the more successful at the next level, it's Bolden and it's not even close.

Dominique Hawkins is the best guard in the state and I'm not sure it's close. That being said, Bolden still has a couple of years to go...

Hence why I said "at the next level".
