Everything sounds right except the AD job. That was never part of Wolfe’s deal. Trust me. Wolfe just wanted to Coach Football and study Film all day. that's far from wanting the AD job. I get that you have some sources but Ft Thomas is also a very small town and everyone knows everybody’s business. I have heard it right from the people that were trying to get Chris Wolfe to Ft Thomas. Wherever you heard the AD job rumor is False. But your post is almost spot on.

Uh SK isn't Beechwood. Kids aren’t just moving into Independence to play 2A Football and be almost guaranteed a State Championship season. Big difference.

Yea Abner has a Freshman player but would of been on staff regardless. He has been coaching 8th grade Football for a very long time in Ft Thomas well before he had a son and will be coaching long after his son is gone if he has the chance. Regardless he will be coaching Football in Ft Thomas whether he has a son playing or not at any level. I guess that's the definition of daddy ball.

Highlands has new Uni's. Much needed.

Great post but stop with the Players missing. I could play the same game with missing personnel from Highlands Offense. But I wont. Two potentially very good Frosh teams. Love the Big Numbers by both Schools.

Highlands had 3 Taunting Fouls tonight. I like the Energy but they have to clean that up. Which they will. There were extra Refs being trained all Night so having those 6-7 extra sets of Eyes and Ears doesn’t allow for not being disciplined. But I like the Swagger. Its been missing for a very long time.

I watched a very Physical Highlands team tonight.

Yes. Just did okay. Haas started and played well.

HHS Frosh Scored 2x vs Ryle’s 1x but Ryle is 3-4 TD’s better than Highlands because Ryle is missing 4 Starters. Okay. Varsity/JV Final was 21-13 Highlands. Notice how I said Varsity/JV. Highlands Varsity Won a Simulated game 14-0. Don’t even try. Highlands is a much different Animal this year. Not even the same team.

Congrats Beechwood. I kind of knew One school would meet all of the Robinsons needs. Thought maybe it was going to be across the River. Highlands just wasn't that interested enough to go that far. Period.

Very good post. But do you think Early Graduation is the only reason why he is not in Ft Thomas right now? Yes its part of it. Or actually the only thing that can be talked about publicly right now and the main roadblock. Some things are able to be done in other states in HS Athletics where in Ky it is not. You probably wouldn’t have to dig very far to figure out what I’m talking about. But my thoughts are in about 6 months, Beechwood is going to wish they stayed away from this. Its not just early graduation. Don’t be that Naïve. I still love your post. But not all Highlands supporters like me think their program is a better fit than Beechwood right now. Does it have the Chance to be? Absolutely. Highlands wants to Win as much as the next program right now. best to Luck to Beechwood.

Never happen for just one. A few years back Brycen Huddleston wanted to leave early to enroll at Eastern Michigan for the Spring semester only to be told no. Maybe the District is seeing more and more of this trend happening going forward and think maybe it's time for a Change even if it doesn't work out for the Florida kid this time around.

Highlands was 8-1 on the day with their only loss was to Ryle in Pool Play. Ryle is very good and disciplined. Will be a handful in 6A.

I believe i also heard that Highlands won 3 of the 4 Lineman challenges and when the Tug Of War was about to start they just stopped the competition and randomly awarded LCA 1st place. Can anyone confirm this?

RJ West along with Zion Mason both toured Highlands around the 1st of the year. I think both played at Cooper as Freshman? Maybe thats wrong. Just glad Zion is no longer in Park Hills.

This was sent to me from a Friend. Not quite sure there is a Sr Class in Ky that deserves this more than these Guys. Yes it’s only a 7 on 7 but it is still them against everyone else. Yesterday was just a small piece of the Puzzle for Coach Sphire’s resurrection. This group along with a very strong supporting cast will definitely make some noise this year.

The Jordan Nevels has strong ties to Fredrick Douglas as well. He has toured down there too. I'm guessing Gas prices nixed that one. LOL
