Really wasn't close at half Ryle made 2 threes before half. 3rd quarter Dixie ran off 8 straight and never looked back . Schreck led with 18 with rest of team with 8 or less . Defense really clamped down on Ryle with Drew Moore active on both ends blocking shots and steals, Rabe and Hedger were also active whole game with defense and rebounding. Matt Isbel with a nice put back slam on missed shot called for hanging on rim.Really impressed with Dixie defense and unselfishness.

Where is this being played? Would like to see Austin Schreck from Dixie Heights and Sean Ross from Pulaski Co. Those two have alot of energy.Isn't Snapp a sophomore? Injuries? Players short?

His rebounding skills for a guard are probably unmatched in 9th region. Really tough kid who is not afraid to mix it up.

I am with you also on this. Used to be everyone in that district went to that school unless you were a tuition school. Whatever happened to the good ol days are gone to the you can win here and that school has nothing to build on. I blame it on the culture of sports on TV with all these know it all announcers , win at all costs and not team, friendships with fellow friends you actually grew up with who continue to play and being able to connect with them win or lose with them is lost on the bigger picture on life to the concept of winning.Friendships are made and the backbone of this country on how we treat one another and alot of this is lost on the being a winner.Traditions are lost now where our kids are no longer going to the same schools you graduated from due where you live or unable to get in those schools Not sure with were this is going but times have changed, parents have to make decisions for their kids and sometimes the bigger picture needs to be reexamined on the whole.I am done.

Last time met in December with Holmes winner by 8. Three members of Holmes sat first Qtr. and still beating Dixie . Second half Dixie won the scoring battle but still lost. Who wins this matchup of 3rd and 4th ranking teams in 9th region? Decision will be tomorrow at BOK @1:30.

Also the tip out by Schreck after the free throw miss kept the possession to Dixie was also huge.
