Guessing that game was never in doubt.

Dixie led 29-24 at the half...took over in the second half, limiting Ryle to just 12 points.

Has Bill Code come out of retirement to coach Ryle? This has to be a 1/2 dozen games in the 30's. I am not familiar with their Junior or Senior class but know most of their Sophomores, you have some kids that know how to score. I'm not sure if it is their style of play or what? I would like to hear some feedback from Bgp'ers who have seen this team play. I might suggest You Tubing some old Loyola Marymont footage!

If you can hit the forty mark vs Ryle you are in good shape.

Really wasn't close at half Ryle made 2 threes before half. 3rd quarter Dixie ran off 8 straight and never looked back . Schreck led with 18 with rest of team with 8 or less . Defense really clamped down on Ryle with Drew Moore active on both ends blocking shots and steals, Rabe and Hedger were also active whole game with defense and rebounding. Matt Isbel with a nice put back slam on missed shot called for hanging on rim.Really impressed with Dixie defense and unselfishness.

Sorry, I had my little one last night. Didn't get on after the game.

Schreck had a great game for Dixie... Ryle could not match up with him. Rabe had 7 points on just 5 shots taken. Isbel didn't just hang on the rim... he followed up a miss high above the rim, grabbed it with 2 hands and slammed it with AUTHORITY! He received a T for pulling himself up on the rim, in essence doing a chin-up. It was worth it :)

Story of the game was Coach Chevy's subbing... he gave significant minutes to several JV players. I guess he thought the game was never in doubt, as they were in, playing minutes in the 1st half. Against the better teams these kids don't see the floor and its a totally different game for Dixie.

Mitch Bolin returns tonight against Holy Cross.
