  1. Not on the Trosper wagon, but am on the Conner bandwagon. They have some very good football players.
  2. No, agree 100%. That's what I meant when I said T had 3 games left and the score will be 0-0 in each one. You have to play the games...
  3. Is this a serious question? It was 42-40 & 56-48.
  4. Have been following you guys since Boone played you to open season. Players and coaches should be commended for turning this season around. With all that has gone on things could easily have gone sideways. Great job!
  5. There is no one, on paper, including X, that really has a chance against Trinity. If you are saying X is the best team they will face, then I agree. I do know that T has 3 games to go and the score will be 0-0 at the beginning of each one. They are in class by themselves this season (7A?).
  6. Yep. Boone turned it over 2x deep in Ryle territory & game ended with Boone taking knees inside Ryle 20. I think Ryle had 1st downs on its first 2 plays from scrimmage, then not another until a pass interference w/ about 2 min to go in game. Ryle scored on 75-yard Interception in 3rd Quarter. Kam Schwartz had decent game at QB, but huge 55 yd punt & game clinching INT. Cody Rodriguez & Mikel Reynolds were both studs running the ball tonight & the BC O-Line were animals. Don't think the D gave up 100 yards, but not certain...
  7. My criteria are position, stats, record & college recruitment. Towles gets my vote hands down.
  8. So its low-cal Haterade. Half the calories; all the hate.
  9. How many times have you heard a player say of a personal award or record that they would trade it for a team championship? I have no doubt the same would be said by JJ Jude & his coach. I don't begrudge a coach for trying to get his player a personal record as long as the TEAM is onboard with the decision. I have never seen Jude carry the ball, but I have heard how hard the kid works. I can't help but think that his teammates see this as a TEAM accomplishment and one that they will remember for a long time. When Peyton Manning and then Tom Brady broke the NFL record for TD passes in a season both threw TD passes when the team had 1st & Goal from inside the 5 and could have run for the TD. I think the team wanted to get them the record. I don't see why anyone is bent out of shape on this one? Seems like they have been drinking some Haterade....
  10. Right they should be afraid of a powerhouse like NCC? This is exactly why the team leader would set the tone for the team immediately. The frame of mind is not "oh no, NCC", its "Bring 'em on"! I love it!
  11. Just read a tweet on MCHS football website said that Jacob Hensley (#58) is up and walking. As happy as I am with the Boone win, this is the best news of the night by far! Prayers for his continued recovery.
  12. Rebels lost 6 fumbles I believe. Were down 13-0 half-way through first quarter and MC was stopped on 4th & 3 at about the BC 5. HUGE stand by the defense! Kam Schwartz had a big game running one in from about 20 yards out on 4th down & throwing 2 TD's including the winning 25yd TD to Thompson w/ 13 seconds left. The Rebel defense came up large on the drive before the final score pushing MC back. Ganster was huge w/ 2 sacks on the final drive forcing a punt on 4th & 43. Great win for BC! Prayers for #58 for MC. He left by ambulance after a head or neck injury. I hope he is okay. It was very scary & sobering.
  13. Yep, not only did he QB the entire game, but also returned kicks...
  14. Played whole game against Boone too...
  15. Boone is healthy & hungry. More balanced than they have been in the past, but can still grind it out. Defense is solid. No reason they can't put a few wins together in the playoffs.
  16. Good news is no injuries leading into playoffs...
  17. Would love to see TOP on this one. Boone ran 2x as many plays in the 1st half prolly had the ball 20min to 10, but were down 19-0. John Hardin had a couple gamebreakers in #11 & #2. The score w/ 0.5sec left in the half was a back breaker. 2nd half was much more even, but similarly Boone had the ball seemed like 2 to 1...
  18. Hopefully the freshman that are playing up for both teams will still get the chance to play the other team one more time in the 2nd round of the playoffs...
  19. Oh whoops, I thought you were seriously saying they rested guys. BC's 1st drive, punching it in after converting 3 different 4th downs was HUGE. Boone dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in the 1st half. CC probably slightly outplayed BC in the 2nd half, but by then the game was well in hand.
  20. I don't think CC rested anyone. Who were you thinking they rested?
