BGH - No you don't - when you lose you blame the refs, you just did it a couple of posts ago. So you say you keep quiet when "bad things" happen? How about giving some credit to your opponent? You need to drop Mom's advice and follow Paul Brown's - "When you win say nothing, when you lose say even less."

Wow - that is weak BGH . . . the refs? BBHS never had a lead in the game and the Cru's starting point guard was on the bench the entire 2nd half with an injury. Did the refs cause you not to take advantage of that? Did the refs cause you to be behind the entire game? Upsets happen? How was this an upset?

BGH - what was the St. Henry score again? I missed your report.

Did you even read what you wrote? NASA has a simpler plan for building condos on Mars. Hate to see your sceniaro for Silver Grove or Ludlow winning State. Just keep it simple - they're not going to win the 9th, which is what this thread is about.

The OP question was (is) can Conner win the 9th? They are likely going to have to pull off up to 3 upsets to do that, including up to 2 in districts alone. Thats asking a lot of anyone. If you had to pick 2 teams to come out of their district, most are not going to pick them.

BGH - you are, if anything, predictable. Like I said, 20 wins is nice, but a lot of teams will hit that too. Whoever posted 7th or 8th best team in NKY has it right. You clearly have one of the best teams, but you are celebrating like the season is over. Stop celebrating and get back to work and impress us by beating St. Henry. You really only have 1 quality win - need more for me to join your bandwagon.

The answer is - Negative Ghostrider - the pattern is full. Give us a reason to think it can happen. Losing to Boone, SK, Ryle, Highlands doesn't help. Still have to face NDA and NCC. Upset both of those and we'll think about it. Lose to both and they hardly feel like 9th region champ material now do they.

20 wins? I just don't know how much that means. On the one hand it's nice - you've beaten some decent teams, but only 1 quality win . .vs NCC . . at home . . in OT. (You then found out what playing them on a neutral floor was like). Beating up on the likes on Silver Grove, Calvary Christian, and Deming isn't helping your RPI. You lost bad to NCC in All A and Boone Co. I guess I'll start to believe more if you beat St. Henry.

I have to inquire . . . why post a picture of Futcher (if that's who that is) vs Campbell County? What does that have to do with the OT win vs NCC? And how do we know that that's Futcher in the picture anyway? While it's an interesting action photo, by not being able to see her face, it makes it a pointless picture.

I agree with the above list. MVP has to be someone from NDA, question is who? How many first teamers are picked? 1st team locks have to be Schmahl and Thelen from NDA, Fortner and Bessler from St. Henry, and Snyder from NCC. Jillian, Ogle, O'Day, and Bush will all make 1st or 2nd team. Other possibles for 1st or 2nd teams: Jones, Schellhaas, and Hartman from NDA, Hempel and Nichols from Ryle, Berkley at Campbell Co., Romito at Scott, Rolle at Cooper, and Govan at Silver Grove. Is that everyone? Left off some decent players from Brossart, Beechwood, and a few other schools. Don't know about a DS or Libero - people in the know tell me the best one in NKY will be a Freshman at NDA next year.

Against the spirit? Brossart played 2 games on Sat too . . . both teams could have had a week off and Brossart still would of won. No one wants to hear about how many minutes someone had to play. 3 games in 24 hours is a normal weekend in AAU. The better team won.

A 14 point loss last night to a banged up Highlands team does not inspire confidence. I'll stand by my original "no" answer. You take Conner. I'll take the field. I like my chances.

Why not just report the score and move along. NCC is great, a top 15 team in the state, and yes, previous poster, their record does speak for themselves. They have to play the game, we all know that. I'm not bashing the game, coach, team, or the fact that they had to play. Just the OP. Gushing about how bright your future is after 1 game after beating a bunch of 8th graders by 50 seems . . . over-inflated? Will u be on suicide watch if they lose their next one by 30?

Congrats on playing nobody and beating them by 46 and 50 points. Who up next? - Silver Grove, Dayton, Bellevue? Reality check! Of corse everyone lookes good. I bet theres 7th and 8th grade teams that can beat Newports Varsity.

Ha! Most of you don't realize how good she is. She is a fantastic player. I've seen her play HS and Club. Do you know how good you have to be to make the HP teams she's played on? Always figured she would be a big time D1 prospect. I'm just a little surprised. Quite a catch for Cle St.
