I think you are pretty close to right. I don't think Coach Harp needs to leave but he does need to let go with some of his stuborness. Danville only ran about six different running plays against Somerset, at first they worked great, then Somerst adjusted and shut them down. But Coach Harp just kept trying to pound those same plays. I don't know if he had not prepared to run any other offense or not, but you can't limit yourself like that against a very good Somerset team.

PP92 you seem to know a lot about the Danville program and are not a fan. I don't know how you became so informed on the Danville football program? Some how I think you are just throwing out your opinion. How many Danville games did you go to this year?

Then you guys should enjoy your win and quit worrying about what Coach Harp and the rest of the Danville fans think. The begining of this thread from Somerst posters is focused on what Danville thinks. These wins and losses usually go in cycles. Somerset has a pretty good run going, enjoy it, you guys go get a state title and we will go home and live in the past with our 10 titles and 2 runner ups, and think about how to get better for next year.:clap:

Well both players are very valueable, but I think Lang did a lot of damage in the last game. I hope both players are healthy and can play, I would like to see both teams to be at full strength Friday and have a good competitive game.

Danville should be 5th and will prove that tonight.

If I'm not mistaken I think Bourbon Co. was a #4 seed and won the 2A state championship some time in the 90's with Dudley as their Coach. That was a strong district with Danville, Lex Cath, Boyle Co. and Bourbon Co.

Danville has 2 players in the top 5, Jeremy Britt and Kelvin Turner. Way to go ADS!!!!

Thanks for the info. Danville went to Whitesburg in the 1994 semi's and won the game, but Whitesburg had a really good team.

Was Whitesburg High school combined into PCC?

I think you are right, it could be that our district sweeps the sister district also. Danville is hard to figure this season. Their turnover problems seem to figure in the equation a lot.

Do you guys think Danville is all washed up(Purple Pride and AJG)?

Congrats to LCA, you guys were able to make some plays in the second half. I was really disapointed, when Danville had LCA 4th and 10 and let them complete a desparation bomb with 2 defenders there that should have knocked the ball down. Then allowed and on sides kick that was questionable if LCA didn't touch before the ball traveled 10 yards, because they actually spotted the ball right on the 50 yard line. The game hinged on those 2 plays. Its a shame it depended on those 2 plays because if Danville doesn't turn the ball over with fumbles these plays would not have been so critical. I still think Danville will make some noise in the playoffs, but if they don't I'm still behind the ADS win or lose.:thumb:

If Danville comes out focused and ready to play, this game will be "blow out city" early on. I think Danville is still embarassed from its performance against Somerset 2 weeks ago and will be ready to play friday. I'll take the ADS 49-7.

Danville scored 49 in the first half last week against MHS, running clock entire second half. Look for the same friday.

The ads roll tonight, the score was 49-0 at the half. The clock was running the entire second half. Middlesburo scores their 14 on the Freshman. If Danville comes out focused and agressive they should handle LCA next week to finish second in the district.

Poor old Admirals guess they Might as well give up football, they never will get over good old Somerset.:scared::notworthy: But then again maybe they will get another shot this year.:DI hope so!

I was at the game, Somerset did dominate the game, but Danville looked slugish and very unispired. I think the week off may have caused them to lose the momentum and ryhtum they had been playing with. I hope the Ads get the opporunity to redeem themselves come playoff time. In the past years Danville has been good at making redemption in the playoffs against Lex Cath in 98 and Frankfort around 06 or 07. I think Danville is definently a lot better than how they perfomed last night. On the other hand I thought Somerset looked very determined after 3 straight losses and wanted the win more than Danville. I don't understand how you can have that mindset with such a big district game.:confused:

I'll take Danville 28-7 over SHS, Coach Harp said on the radio they have had some good practices this week. If Alcorn struggles I dont think it will take long before we will see Ford in as QB.

I was waiting to see what Coach Harp would do, Tryston has made the offense look smoother and more effective.

I think #3 Ford needs to be playing Quaterback even when the starter is able to come back. He is much quicker and mobile and gives the defense fits. He doesn't have the arm Von Von does, but he can sure be effective with his feet.
