No disagreement here, and I'm not saying that I am against activism for things like this. I just have beef with people who believe after watching a 30-minute video promoting propaganda that they are suddenly all-knowledgeable about issues in Uganda and with Invisible Children. Some couldn't tell you if Uganda was a city or a country, let alone choose it on a map. The guy isn't even IN Uganda anymore, for crying out loud. I agree. It always seems they're little twerps who are around a group of their 9th grade friends all trying to sound cooler than the next. You won't find me using the word "atheist" or its adjective form "atheistic" in any negative connotation. I can guarantee you that. I do think others do, however, and I find it weird why people care what other people's take on God is. Some of the brightest minds in the entire world think the very thought of a higher power intricately affecting our universe and setting things in place is remote at best. I think it's silly to not entertain thoughts other than those which you're comfortable with. There's a great quote by Galileo: "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." I think it's applicable in the sense that people aren't using that same sense and reason when they use the word "atheist" with a negative connotation or as a "slur."

The two teams are easily comparable in talent. I don't know who I'd give the edge to honestly, but their talent is definitely on par with Kentucky's, if not greater. I'm just glad that UNC will more than likely pick up a 1 seed now, provided they have a nice showing in the ACC tournament and will hopefully be positioned opposite side of the bracket from UK.

This sounds like a circus. Just because a team is outgunned before the start of the game does not mean it justifies throwing away an entire season's worth of work. What ever happened to having some faith in your players' abilities? I would've hated to have been on the Highlands roster tonight, I will tell you that. All this says to me is that my coach believes that the best way for us to win the game is to get lucky and cut the game to around 10-15 total possessions, rather than beat our opponent in a dignified manner. I didn't pay a dime to see this game (for those who will so eloquently say that I'm cheap because I didn't feel I got my $8 out of this) and honestly have never watched more than 5 or so female basketball games. I have no allegiance to either team here -- just my opinion.
