  1. 11 runs scored in the last 4 and 7/9 games is what I'm saying. 29th in the league in OBP. They've faced a pitching staff that is hardly one to write home about.
  2. For fear of being persecuted for being in "panic mode," I'll preface what I say with the fact that if the Reds cannot pull this one out, they're 3 games out of first place with 153 more games to play. I am aware of that. I will say that this team is showing all the signs of being non-contenders for the past 2 series, and here's to hoping they get it figured out. A 4-game sweep by the Nats would be rough.
  3. Chapman hasn't seen the mound since the 11th, and Marshall hasn't seen the mound since the 10th. Any particular reason you folks can formulate besides saving arms as to why the two best relievers haven't seen the field in that few game span? It's not like there haven't been crucial relief opportunities for them either.
  4. I think it would've been great to get him, but as long as UK is still in the hunt for Bennett, it doesn't worry me too much. Does anyone know how the Jefferson recruitment is going?
  5. It wasn't -- they ruled it a wild pitch. My fault. Tomato, tomato. Regardless, game over.
  6. It happened in two consecutive innings where there were lefties up when he kept Arredondo and then Simon in with the winning run on 3rd base.
  7. Yeah... Dusty decided this game wasn't for him I guess. Nice choice!
  8. Stammen almost had the 9 pitch strike out the side inning. Looked nasty against the Reds' most strikeout prone hitters.
  9. Why not bring in Marshall here? Lefty on lefty? Best pitcher in the bullpen by far.
  10. Maybe shouldn't have been able to get the out at first, but he definitely could've stopped the ball. Attempted to backhand it and had a bit of top spin, went right under the glove and into left.
  11. I wish him the best of luck, as long as they do not meet Kentucky in the NCAA tournament. He sounds like a special player.
  12. Joe is correct. Thank you. I was incorrect.
  13. I'm not forgetting anyone. I am just taking into account that if they were top 15 next year, it may be a result of a weak field of teams more than it is UK's strength. Even then it could be considered a stretch.
  14. The year they lost Jamal Crawford and Ramel Bradley? I think it's safe to say we can classify that time as a rebuilding generation. I agree with you, though.
  15. Top 15 with only Wiltjer returning and only adding Poythress, Goodwin, and Cauley? Eh, I hope you're right. I would be happy with top 25 if that were the case. It could be a tougher year than you think.
  16. My prediction: Georgetown for Noel. UCLA for Shabazz. Sorry UK -- looks like it may be a rebuilding year. Haven't had one of those in a while, have they?
