I find this to be true, but there are more teams in NKY than just the ninth region and a few select teams from the 10th. The Walton Verona Bearcats got minimal coverage as did other NKY teams Simon Kenton, Grant, Williamstown, and Gallatin County because they are in the 8th region. I was not a fan of Mr. Ernst and for one am not sorry he is leaving.

Hicks seems to be made of teflon. Any other coach with that much talent would not be let off so easialy.

Sorry to leave you hanging I just got home. I agree with madman that all the fouling is not my cup of tea. Not saying the kids don't deserve what they get just not fun to watch. If Grant ever wants to be known for more than fouling they are eventually going to have to learn to play defense is all I was saying.

I agree madman the game last night was hard to watch, too many fouls and too much whinning about fouls being called. Playing hard is not always playing smart.

I always thought the same thing but I guess Gallatin wouldn't have won all those games the past few years if they were not talented, if not tall. (They always seem short and undersized.)

I made the trip south to catch this game, the undersized Wildcats are pretty scrappy.

I don't think Gallatin will lose but that is why the games are played there have been bigger upsets than this would be.

Hasn't Gallatin beat Caroll County twice this year.

The let down from winning the all A definitely played in Highlands favor tonight. The girls will be okay, good luck in Richmond represent the 8th well.

I am never surprised when a Jon Jones coached team plays anyone tight. I have been watching him beat my team with less talent for the past 5 years. His teams always play hard.

What was that triangle and two? Gallatin tore that junk defense apart. I guess I was wrong when I said it would be a good game.

Walton is awful strong and Gallatin is not as good as they usually are but in this case throw out the records and expect a great game.

The girls are proud but they won't let that ranking keep them from achieving the other goals they have set for themselves, hopefully.

If it is all about the big money send the winners and the runner up teams from the region and make it a 32 team state tournament. Start the tournament on a Monday and be down to a sweet 16 by Wed. This would make sure that no upsets in the region finals would dilute the state tourney and it would make for a much stronger and truer state champion.

Money!!!!! Making a regional tournament is big money for small schools.
