  1. Two losses is more than one and at this point of the season it’s a difference maker. Anyone realistic knew Louisville was going to lose a game and probably thought more from NC State on, Louisville fans included. Pitt just happened to be the one, but they are better overall as a team since then.
  2. A lot of people are thinking Oregon is going to beat Washington which is possible obviously, but I think Washington’s chances of winning again aren’t as our there as everyone thinks. What would be chaotic is Washington losing to Washington State for the Apple Cup. I don’t see it happening, but it is rivalry weekend. Stranger things have happened.
  3. I’m not surprised that Washington took the #4 spot. Kind of surprised it didn’t happen before. The top four will shake itself out after Michigan and Ohio State play and depending on what else happens. Not that it’s very relevant but I might have Louisville above Missouri.
  4. No, that would never be the case. But it is still crazy to think they will be 11-1 if they beat Kentucky Saturday and it’s only Brohm’s first year. No one expected this and I truly believe they didn’t.
  5. Christmas came early for Philadelphia, that pass by Mahomes to the end zone was money but just dropped. I’m glad that the Eagles won though.
  6. Big tush push there, defense has to keep playing like they have.
  7. The Eagles need to do something here, not going to keep stopping the Chiefs on offense. Chiefs in all probability win with no Eagles points here.
  8. That was horrible after Kelsey’s fumble, needed to produce more than that.
  9. I know that they lost but they actually surprised me with how they played. I expected this to be far worse.
  10. I agree with everyone about Plummer. He will play a big role in how this game goes and he’s very due for a solid game. I think the same about turnovers overall regardless of who has the ball.
  11. How Auburn has fallen, a lot has changed in the overall landscape of college football.
  12. This should be a really good game. I think it will be high scoring. I think Highland wins and having this big semifinal game at home is big for them too. Biggest game at Highlands in a good while.
  13. I believe this is the more interesting game of the 1A semifinals. Almost everyone has said Pikeville or Raceland, myself included. As the season has went on, Campbellsville made more of a believer out of me. I believe Pikeville probably wins, but I think this is going to be much closer than I thought longer ago. I’m pulling for Campbellsville though.
  14. I think that Raceland gets it done. It could be interesting through the first half and a little into the second half. I look for Raceland to wear KCD more as the game goes on. Good luck to both teams.
  15. The game for the Governor’s Cup is one week away. I believe that things will be absolutely rocking at L&N Stadium at and before game time next Saturday. Does Louisville come out flat after today’s big win, similarly to how they did against Pittsburgh after the win against Notre Dame or do they play to what they are capable of? Kentucky lost a rough one tonight against South Carolina, but I’m sure they will come to Louisville motivated. I believe Louisville wins on Saturday and that it’s going to be absolutely rocking like it was for the Notre Dame game, if not even more. Other thoughts?
  16. Final. The Huskies leave Corvallis with a big win. Washington gets its spot for the PAC championship game. Both teams have big rivalry games next week.
  17. Should be one hell of a football game, which is supposed to be at this point. I seriously don’t know who to pick. Both teams are obviously great and familiar with each other. Being at War Memorial is a potential difference maker and Mayfield beat LCA very impressively last night. Beechwood hasn’t been anything short of impressive all season and has been very strong overall since beginning play in 2A. My main concern for Beechwood is the schedule that they have played since district play began in the regular season up to last night, which is obviously beyond their control. This takes nothing away from what Beechwood has done, but when your first challenging game in a while is against Mayfield and there, won’t be easy in any way. But I believe they are clearly the 2A champion until proven otherwise. Good luck to both teams in what should be another great football game.
  18. I don’t know how much Louisville football you have watched this season, but I can promise you he’s Jekyll and Hyde, maybe not even that consistent. Jack Plummer is very inconsistent putting it mildly. He’s had good moments but nothing consistent in any way. Their running game and defense has been a big part of their success as of late. I’m well aware, I’ve watched every game this season. Brohm has done an amazing job coaching too. Frankly, I believe he should be coach of the year.
  19. Can’t argue that in any way, shape, or form.
  20. Yes sir, it’s an amazing accomplishment with the quarterback that they have now.
  21. Way to go Cards!!! This was the game that I was worried about after the win against Notre Dame before losing to Pittsburgh. Hard to believe we are playing in Charlotte for the ACC championship game against Florida State in year one with Brohm. The future is bright for Louisville football, great day to be a Louisville Cardinals fan, GO CARDS!!!
  22. Tough one to pick. I think whoever wins does so by not more than a touchdown, maybe closer.
  23. Lots of questions definitely going to be happening about Colorado and its future. Who knows?
