Indiana 27 Miami 21 (CFP Championship)
How different is it that not only Indiana is playing in the national championship, but are doing it without one 5 star player on their team. Pretty wild to think about with how they beat Oregon and Alabama in the playoff and nearly everyone they played in the regular season.

Indiana 27 Miami 21 (CFP Championship)
I think Indiana wins, but I could see this being a good game. I know some may not, but Indiana’s only battle that they have had was against Ohio State. Miami has been battle tested throughout the playoff and they are very good defensively too. I still believe Indiana is playing as the better team because of how well they are playing on both sides of the ball. I look forward to watching.

Indiana 56 Oregon 22 (CFP Semifinals)
Very impressive and dominant win for Indiana. The turnaround time that Cignetti has done with them is still wild to think about, but he’s clearly done it. It’s very hard to think of anyone in college football being a better coach than him right now. I know he hasn’t won a national championship yet, which appears within his grasp, but the job he’s done with Indiana has been phenomenal. I couldn’t be happier for Indiana.

CFP Semifinals: #1 Indiana vs. #5 Oregon
If they beat Miami similarly to how they have been beating everyone else, I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

CFP Semifinals: #1 Indiana vs. #5 Oregon
As the famous saying from Rocky 4 goes, “Throw the damn towel “.

CFP Semifinals: #1 Indiana vs. #5 Oregon
Oregon didn’t need that, Indiana is good enough offensively.

CFP Semifinals: #1 Indiana vs. #5 Oregon
Indiana will be more tested this game but I believe they still win it.

Miami 31 Ole Miss 27 (CFP Semifinals)
This was fun to watch. I’m on board with what was said about the Hail Mary not being called PI on. They are all definitely playing physical on plays like that, especially in the end zone or close to it. Either way, fun game to watch. I would have been happy for either winning. It is huge for the ACC with Miami getting to the championship game with how bad the conference has been viewed and spoken of by many. As far as when an SEC team makes it back, it’s a fair question to think on. It will happen at some point, but when is the question. In losing, Ole Miss played their hearts out, which was clear. I thought their quarterback had an impressive playoff too. And I don’t look for Kiffin to ever advance as far as Ole Miss did into the last four with LSU or anyone else.

NFL Black Monday/Coaching Carousel
Too bad that Zac Taylor isn’t part of it. Just more of practically the same old same for the Bengals.

NFL Black Monday/Coaching Carousel
He isn’t gone because of lack of coaching quality, Baltimore just wanted a change, whether Lamar/other players, management, ownership, etc., change was wanted. The change could cost them badly too.

CFP Semifinals: #6 Ole Miss vs. #10 Miami
I agree and believe that their defense is what made them look like a top team earlier in the season before they skidded some. They definitely look more like earlier season form now, which in turn is better with them being in the position that they are now.

Steelers 26 Ravens 24
I agree.

Browns 20 Bengals 18
I was happy for Garrett getting the record for the season.

Open Job: Campbell County
No doubt.

CFP Semifinals: #6 Ole Miss vs. #10 Miami
This will be the better game of the two in my opinion. Tough one to pick, but I think Miami advances.

CFP Semifinals: #6 Ole Miss vs. #10 Miami
They should have happened before.

Ole Miss 39 Georgia 34 (CFP Quarterfinals)
Hands down, there may not be a better game the rest of the way.
-
Ole Miss 39 Georgia 34 (CFP Quarterfinals)
I’m very happy for Ole Miss, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Kiffin doesn’t go this far with LSU.
-
CFP Semifinals: #1 Indiana vs. #5 Oregon
If Indiana plays the way they did today, I don’t see Oregon or anyone else beating them. Indiana proved that they are clearly #1 in my opinion today.
-
CFP Quarterfinals: #3 Georgia vs. #6 Ole Miss
Crushing fumble for Ole Miss, could be a big difference maker as the game goes on.
-
CFP Quarterfinals: #3 Georgia vs. #6 Ole Miss
That was a dominant drive by Georgia on their touchdown score. Ole Miss is going to have to score a touchdown, won’t be able to continue settling for field goals.
-
Indiana 38 Alabama 3 (CFP Quarterfinals)
That was a dominant win. Indiana definitely showed as the #1 team unquestionably. And Indiana has the best college football coach nationally.
-
Oregon 23 Texas Tech 0 (CFP Quarterfinals)
The playoff hasn’t been friendly for the bi’s, which is continuing as a trend.
-
CFP Quarterfinals: #4 Texas Tech vs. #5 Oregon
Heading for 0-6 with the bi’s between this playoff and last year’s.

Miami 24 Ohio State 14 (CFP Quarterfinals)
Same with me. I know that the ACC gets a horrible reputation now and Miami’s losses didn’t make them look great by any means. But they impressed me early on and I was shocked when Louisville beat them. Miami was far better defensively this season compared to last season, which was what I thought was their significant difference. Beating Notre Dame clearly got them into the playoff and I’m glad for them that they got their bid, they have shown up for it between last night and against Texas A&M.
