  1. Congrats SK! The Tigers were much improved over the scrimmages and I was very pleased how Tigers played. They were in position to win it late in the fourth quarter. Just didn't happen. Although Max would help tremendously on offense (time of possession, keeping the ball away from SK) he was missed more on defense last night. Not sure anyone blitzes as good as he does. That could have slowed down the sk offense a little bit. Loved the fake punt call on your own 10 yard line. Cojones Grandes!
  2. With Bw driving cam lane fumbled on sk 28 2 min left
  3. It was way over his head. 17-7 at half. Sk gets ball to start
  4. Do you know what "Child Please" is a substitution for? edit: I'm not saying that to you. He used it in post #22.
  5. All the transfers and tuition students did outstanding!
  6. Plainspoken has made a lot of claims without facts. He didn't look up the Highlands tuition information until I challenged his bet. I think everyone knew that the private school would charge higher tuition than Highlands or Beechwood. So what is the "state charge" he mentions? With KERA I am paying for other kids to go to schools throughout the state!
  7. You will have to forgive Plainspoken, he didn't get the benefit of a Highlands or Beechwood education! :sssh: I knew a former Beechwood students in the late 2000s that went to Dixie and the parents said they only paid $200 tuition. Fact is Highlands/Beechwood can charge larger amounts because they have something people are willing to pay for
  8. How many of the National Champion Band members or National Merit Finalists are from out of district. :idunno:
  9. 2004? They've been playing football longer than that!
  10. Does anyone really win a 7 on 7? Without the line there it is a different game anyway. I saw last week someone posted a team won on a hail marry pass! It is more about getting your rhythm and timing down than anything. Test the water with some younger talent to see if they can run and catch. A chance to do something productive when you can't be wearing pads.
  11. Here is a list of State Champions from Kentucky Lacrosse Site Division I 2001- St. Xavier (Cherokee Club Team) 2002- St. Xavier (Trinity) 2003- St. Xavier (Ballard) 2004- Trinity (St. Xavier) 2005- Trinity (St. Xavier) 2006- Trinity (Lexington Catholic) 2007- Trinity (St. Xavier) 2008- St. Xavier (Lexington Catholic) 2009- St. Xavier (Louisville Collegiate) 2010- St. Xavier (Trinity) 2011- St. Xavier (Trinity) Division II 2006- Tates Creek 2007- Oldham (Eastern) 2008- Eastern (Henry Clay) 2010- Christian Academy (DuPont Manual) 2011- Lexington Dunbar (Ballard) Division III 2011- Greenwood (Oldham County) Looks like there was only one division until 2006. Division III was added in 2010 but only the top 2 teams got to qualify for the Divsion II tournament as the #7 & 8 seed. Division III got its own tournament in 2011.
  12. year wasn't closed. Division III played on Saturday in Lexington. Northern Kentucky beat Woodford in a close one 8-6.
  13. what post #?. Post 143 talks about this year, I think. I was wondering about 2006, 2005 or something of that era when there were only 4 classes.
  14. What is your conclusion or point??? What is your definition of competitive and close? Have to wonder what only 4 classes would change as well. Any chance you could go back and look at the last few years of 4 class system?
  15. Toothpick is a big Mayfield fan and claims to be big high school football fan. So you tell me he doesn't know the names for the key players of the opposition? He is trying to get another dig in and he is playing most of you guys!
  16. NUSSBAUM! You heard his name called all night long and you can't get it right. You've got to be doing this on purpose to annoy Beechwood folks. Give the kid some credit and spell it correctly.
