That's an understatement! All I heard all off season and early on is that the Birds graduated all of their good offensive lineman and that unit will really struggle this year, heck I overheard 2 random guys talking about it at Lowes back in August. Props to those young men!

Pretty sure they had the means to do that if that were the plan. Not trying to distract away from this game at all so maybe another thread could be started after the season.

Heard a story earlier in the year where Coach Specht from Cincy St. X wanted Beau to transfer over after his 8th grade year at Highlands with the plan for Beau to play QB his Soph - Senior year for the Bombers. Beau said nah, I want to play and win with the guys I grew up with. I tip my cap to his decision!

Yes we will, it's shame we only got to see him one year behind center, oh well it's just a testament to the QB factory Highlands has become.

Great Job Birds Offensive Line and Coach Turner! There were a lot of unknowns to start the year with pretty much all new faces, to just see them getting better and better each week has been fun to watch.
