Well you have information that I don't, cause I have never heard that, as a matter of fact, if you, or anyone else want to believe that to be a possibility, I would turn it around and say that the HISTORY will make Mayfield MORE PSYCHED out to beat Danville. Danville won most of those games because they were simply better, a few of them could of gone either way, no excuses, we didn't make the plays to win and Danville did. I think Mayfield will win this game, and I have not spoken to anyone who thinks different. Just stir the pot, and keep hoping for that to be true. I can't stop laughing that you think its even possible.

Surely you jest, Mayfield may not win, but they WILL NOT be psyched out, or intimidated by Danville. I am actually surprised that you would think this was a possibility. Danville was in the championship game last year and with the players they had coming back I think most people thought they would be back. This is not the Cardinals first rodeo, coach Joe will have his team ready and win, lose, it will not have anything to so with history against the Ads.

I have no idea what any of Mayfield's players clock at but I doubt anyone clocks that fast, I believe as a team, we will compare above what most 2A teams have.

This was no surprise to mayfield fans, we started the year with a 2 QB rotation, Guthrie got a broke rib in the Corbin game early I might add, and we stopped using it as much to let him heal.

Whose to say he would'nt have tripped, my main point was that you can't say he surely would have scored, possibly, maybe, maybe our defender makes the play of the game and closes the gap, maybe wright fumbles after the catch.:ylsuper:

Saying SURELY he would have scored is going a little to far, there were 2 cardinal defenders right on him. Possibly scored, i will take that.

For the most part i agree with you, it should be a really flagrant infraction to take a kid out of a game, especially a playoff game.

Losing by 3 to a team playing for the 3 A championship isn't a bad resume, Corbin is good, I thought central would beat them tho after what they did to belfry.

Ejections can kill you this time of the year, just ask Mayfield about that, our leading tackler getting ejected last year at the owensboro catholic semi final game killed us, may not of changed the outcome, but for sure mad a difference.

I figure it will take a near perfect game for the cards to pull off the win, i think we will be far better than anyone the admirals have played in the playoffs for sure, crazy things can happen, and the ball can bounce funny, we are playing very good football right now. should be a good one.

Well, I"m not sure how to determine ELITE, probably dont have any 1 player as fast as your guy, cant remember his name, but we have several, i mean several that can break big plays every time they touch the ball, line has very, very good swarming speed.

He had 1 reception, and outside punts and kickoffs i dont think he touched the ball. You have to hold your breath each time he does, he's amazing, but Mayfield did an awesome job keeping him in check.

Very good team spead, across the board.

Statatition told me wright had 1 catch. Coach Joe had a game plan and it worked. I agree it is crazy they didn't get the ball in wrights hands more, wildcat, sweeps, SOMETHING. Awesome athlete. This game was won in the trenches and Mayfield won that battle, that was a really, really good team we just beat, congrats to CAL, great hard hitting team, played tuff, coached well, you have a fine team, lost with class to.
