  1. Congrats to PT, I thought Valley was going to run away with it but the big Blue kept fighting, stopped, or cut down on valley driving into the paint and that changed the game. On a side note, serious question, I don’t follow high school basketball a lot, but is there better players in ky than Tandy for UHA? He’s rediculous!
  2. I'll take it, that was a decent team they just beat.
  3. I absolutely agree, bush league to dislike! Heck, what has UK got to lose? I wish VC the best. GLAD HES GRADUATING! Don't want to see him in person again, well, in Danville uniform anyway!
  4. Sometimes comments don't come across as meant on a message board. I mean't for mine to be funny and not at all sarcastic. I don't think any of my opinions were of false narrative tho. I try to be objective, I enjoy bantering back and forth as long as it stays civil, I hope I can stay that way when and if Mayfield ever wins another championship as some people make it very hard for fans of teams that get beat to stay that way. For the most part, I have enjoyed the bantering with you and Hatz, enjoy your year of celebration, you earned it. 15-0 that quite an accomplishment not matched very often. Think I'll hang my hat up till next year on this thread. :thumb:
  5. Well at least now i'm educated, glad we could come to an understanding. I think I'm going to switch my allegiance to Danville cause I could get use to that type of thinking and since Mayfield will never beat Danville again, yea, that could be fun. Color me in a Admiral fan! I feel better already!:dancingpa
  6. Ok, I give up, I can see that I'm not going to get even the smallest victory from you. Lol, we only scored because Danville let us, how's that?
  7. And, your right, we couldn't run on the Ads, but isn't that what good teams do when you shut part of their game down you adjust? And Mayfield adjusted and had some success in the air, what were we supposed to do when Danville shut down the running game?
  8. Yes our QBs threw 3 interceptions, but also for over 200 yards, my point, obviously missed, was that Danville didn't win EVERY aspect of the game.
  9. Well, again, I have to partly disagree. Just as the pictures and film you post, its perspective I guess. Lets be clear, Danville won and 1 play did not decide the game. I don't like it when people play would of , could of and all that. Stats were very even, and someone posted Mayfield got a huge hunk on the hail mary at end of game, this is true, just as Danville got huge hunk on 1 reverse run. I am going to agree with you that Danville was the better team. I am going to disagree that they won every aspect of the game, they clearly did not just as the passing yardage showed, if you are not going to count the last play, then we start the would of, could of, if this happens, or that play went different and so on. Van Cleve was the difference in this game, others for Danville had big games, but he was the difference, period. Outside of him I think the 2 teams were evenly matched and probably would split 10 games. So yes, in totality Danville was better but saying they won every aspect of the game is stretching it, howbeit by a slim margin.
  10. Although I don't like to use the word whipped, I do believe there is some merit to this comment. The nose guard was so quick the center could not get to him, whatever the term, I agree it had something to do with it.
  11. Thar's funny right there I don't care who you are!
  12. Wireman, I for one have given the Ads the credit they deserve, they were the better team and regardless of this play, they probably would still have won. But i have to disagree that this clip proves it was a TD, man I don't think it is but it really doesn't matter, good call or bad, Danville got the call and the win. Congrats and enjoy your victory, we know how good it feels, and you know how bad it feels to lose the championship. I truly hope we are lucky enough to get another shot at the Ads, we lost, but to me, LOSERS are people that can't win or lose with class, all schools have both and I for one don't want to be either of those kind of fans, and I don't think you are that kind either.
  13. Not sure how you would think it would have been great game, Danville beat the team that beat CAL, that beat Desales, but your entitled to your opinion.
  14. Don't care for it myself, 4+ hour drive for some teams, practically home game for others, not enough rest rooms open, buy tickets one one side of field, blocking off a whole MIDDLE section for resevrved over priced tickets, stadium to big for state high school football.
  15. I don't think your video shows he came down clearly, the picture in a previous doesn't either. I've seen nothing so far that convinces me that it was'nt a bad call. Doesn't matter, Danville got the call and the win, congrats.
  16. Congrats to Danville, the best team won. I think as a team the cardinals were just as fast as Danville outside of vancleve, that kid is amazing! I think the call before half was one of the worst calls I have ever seen, and was huge. Big momentum swing. Danville QB hurt us just as bad as vancleve, we could not contain him. Proud to be a Cardinal, nothing to be ashamed of. 53 for Danville was a beast, and so was 23, very solid team.
  17. That was an interception or no one had it, Danville definitely didn't have possession!
  18. I for one seriously doubt you have ever witnessed Mayfield out coached. Did you ever think that maybe Danville had a great coach and Mayfield had a great coach and Danville just had better players that executed their coaches changes better? Mayfield was beat badly by Danville a couple of those games, but INEXCUSABLE? I have been a Mayfield fan for many, many years, and yes I (like probably every fan) have witnessed coaching sometimes that made me scratch my head, but that was usually when a play, or maybe a scheme did'nt work. Does that mean that our coach made a mistake? Maybe, coaches make mistakes, I guess every coach leaves a game, win or lose and thinks (man i messed up on that, or I wish I had not called that play.) Anyway, knowledgeable people in this state know the quality of coaching that goes on at Mayfield, just as there has been quality coaching at Danville, and just because a couple games were blowouts does'nt mean we were out coached. It's possible, sure, but I think the odds are that Danville was just better those years.
  19. Lol, Coach Morris? Not gonna happen, he will be prepared, I promise you he will. Some of you are grasping for straws, Mayfield may or may not win, if they don't, it won't be because players or coaches are PSYCHED out!
  20. Well so far, on this thread you started, no one believes there is one, how many will it take to convince you there is not one? 10? 20? Come on man, I don't know your reason for starting this thread, but not for 1 minute do I think you even believe this. If it was just to start a little jabbing back and forth, I think you will succeed. I wish a couple of my buddies were still on this site for this thread.
