Mayfield (3-0) continued to impress on Friday with a 47-14 defeat of Paducah Tilghman. The Cardinals will now turn their attention to the Mustangs of McCracken County.

 

McCracken (1-2) has lost two in a row after a season opening OT win over PT. They suffered a 38-22 setback on Friday against Graves County.

 

This series, which began in 2013, is tied at two apiece. Each game has been decided by 6 points or less and all have been high scoring affairs, including last year's 46-41 Mayfield victory.

I'm taking the Cardinals...it will be by more than 6 pts this year.

Don't think anyone will be holding their breath as this year's game comes to a close. This one should leave little doubt. 56-22 MAY

McCracken had a dozen kids including mostly starters suspended vs Graves as the result of a off the field incident. If they are still suspended it will be a fast running clock. Even with them it should be a comfortable Cards win

Not a team on Mayfield's schedule that keeps it within three scores except maybe Corbin.

No, McCracken backup RB scored twice in last 3 minutes on Graves' reserves. Many of McCracken's reserves were in the game from the beginning. (Not saying that Graves wouldn't have won anyway. At least it would have been a closer game, probably a tossup.)

 

Gonna be tough against Mayfield. The Cards are rightly heavily favored.
