The Admirals (4-0) suffered no letdown after a huge win last week over crosstown rival Boyle County. Danville went into Somerset and pulled out an impressive 34-13 victory over Pulaski County.

Waggener hung tough against 6A Eastern in a 29-20 loss. Despite the loss, it was arguably their best performance of the season. The Wildcats certainly have the talent to pull an upset. Depth is the big question mark. They'll need to play a mistake free game to have a shot.

Danville rolls

Agree!

Danville can't overlook Waggener, Waggener is a very fast team also and will have the fastest and best player on the field with Brents handling the ball 70 percent of the time(yes faster than Van Cleave) I think this is a very dangerous game for the Admirals. Waggeners problem is depth, they just wear down late. Danville will win but it could be closer than a lot of people will predict this week.

He's fast but he's not faster than VanCleave.

From watching Boyle play both teams this season Brent's is definitely faster than VanCleave.

VanCleave was clocked at 4.30

Brents was clocked at 4.33

I haven't found a faster time on record for either.

On a side note, I'd be all for lining them up after the game and letting them race.

I know VanCleave is fast but Boyle's DB's ran stride for stride with him every time he went deep I don't recall recall him getting behind the defense on any play after you see Brents in person I think you'll change your mind.

I look forward to it. I enjoy watching speed

It is a treat to watch Brent's, again with 33 major division 1 offers he will be the quickest and best player on the field..High school football is at times like basketball its about match ups. It's a intriguing game for me because Waggener matches up well with Danville and there speed,we will agree to dis agree.

I'm not disagreeing with anything. I'll go watch and give my opinion after the game. I'm excited to watch such a talented player.

I have watched both I think Vancleave is faster but Brents has better moves. And also if Vancleave was two inches taller he would have d1 college offers piled up just as Brents does. I think the Ads win but will be closer then most are predicting. One thing I wonder is does Danville get 14, 74,51, 11 back Friday. They missed them Friday against Pulaski

Danville really missed Ethan Downey and Tanner Ford last night. I'm guessing we won't know anything about Ford until Monday or sometime during the week but the whispers didn't sound too promising.
