Thank you for the nice comment about Doug Teegarden, maybe next years POY. NCC had a very good year and I wish them luck down state. Cain is a very good ball player and I wish him nothing but the best in his future. If anyone has Cain's stats for the year maybe they could post them?

Camels not in the 9th region but Rebholz is a very good player, maybe POY in his region. If this is for all of northern Ky teams he along with many others had a great season and should be in the running. Not sure about no one having as good of offensive season as him as I do not have all the stats not just batting averages. I'm staying with Teegarden from Boone as POY. The coaches will tell us soon who they have picked, good luck to all.

Teegarden pitched 5 innings giving up the one run in the first on 2 hits and 2 walks. Boone had a little bit of a slow start in pitching and hitting but got it going in the 4th with 7 runs.

I'm guessing you don't feel anyone wants to see the Boone/St. Henry game as you did not mention them, they are still in the tournment the last I heard. Some people will not be missed!!

I thought Teegarden was 5-2, thought he got the win against Henry Clay? Stanley's pitching was great against NCC.

I believe Boone would like this draw, CCH & NCC in the same bracket with Conner, tough bracket!!!

I would say Teegarden, Laumann, Shwartz, then either Brodsky or Stanley who only pitched a couple of times this season, but he just pitched a complete game shutout against NCC last weekend. He pitched one heck of a game. After that performance I think he would be my number 4.

I don't know of any, but when there is one they should contact " TOG ".

Is the draw setup so the #1 and #2 from the same district are in different brackets so they would not play each other till the finals? I think Boone has as good a pitching staff as any school in the 9th and can hit with any of them on an average game day. They want to repeat as 9th region champs and I beleve they have a very good chance of doing so.

When, where and who will be at the draw? I heard the first round of the regional will be played Monday at Freedom, 4 games, true?

I'm betting there will be some coaching jobs open after the season, anyone interested??

Great job Cole, you deserve the chance to go forward with your game and your life. You always give it your all on every play. I know your parents are very proud of you and they should be. You are not finished yet with high school so lets go out with another region title, bring the team togeather and finish the job you started in March. Great player and person, thanks.

What about my question about the pitchers finishing ?

Question, can the pitchers come back tomorrow and finish the games? The game is in the bottom of the 5th with one out and Boone hitting. Ryle got the tarp out before the rain hit so the infield should be in pretty good shape. Teegarden is pitching for Boone and number 4 for Cooper. (Sorry I do not know his name)

Thursday night - Beat Henry Clay 4 to 3 (Home run by Launman in 7th) Friday night - Lost to Male 12 to 0 Saturday - Beat NCC 9 to 0 Very hard to figure which team will show for Boone and many other schools this year. Chase Stanley pitched (complete game) for Boone today and did a great job with some great defense by the left and center fielders. and some good hitting by a lot of Boone players. Nice come back after Friday night, so maybe they will go from here and play as we all know they can in the district and regional tournments. Sorry I don't have the stats as I just watch the games without keeping a book. GOOD LUCK BOONE.

The district seedings are different then the weekly poll rankings. Does anyone have all the district parings and the dates, times and places they will be played? It would be nice if they were posted.

Who ever gets hot in the district, some good teams will not make the region. Teams this year are beating each other on any given day. As you know I will be pulling for Boone County but you never know, as many as 5 or 6 teams could pull it off. Good luck to all.

I'm going with Boone as they will work this slump out and come out firing, as they have too many good players to continue to play as they are. COME ON TEAM YOU CAN DO IT.

If you play Boone Co. at the moment you stand a very good chance of winning. Boone is going through a team slump at this time. They are not getting the timely hits, making mental mistakes and worst of all they are putting pressure on themselves. Boone is leaving way too many runners on base in scoring position with one or no outs. BW played a good game last night but Boone once again did not perform up to what they can do. I'm hoping Boone will snap out of this slump in the next couple of weeks before tournment time. I quess if your going to have a slump it's better now then two weeks from now. I hope the players and coaches get togeather and work this out as I know Boone is a whole lot better then their 13 and 9 record. COME ON BOYS HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF AND GO OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN!!!!!!!!
