So now that the season is about to start who is everyone's picks for player of the year for this season?

I agree with you. Laumann and Sexton along with maybe Hempel are my top 3.

Does the player who wins player of the year every year end up getting drafted? Because if thats the case then I'm pretty sure everyone on this forum board knows who is going to win it.

Cotton got NKY player of the year and Smallwood got Enquirer player of the year. And all I am saying is there is plenty of other players that could be considered for the award when in all reality we already know who's is going to get it.

How do we know whose going to get it?

Have I missed something. Did they already give the award out? Not sure how anyone knows who is going to get it. Don't even know who votes for or picks it.

Based on what I know and have seen, he'd darn sure get my vote at this point and not entirely certain there'd be a close second. This is a kid who is a very good pitcher, hitter, and infielder.

 

And I certainly don't think this award has been pre-determined to go to Laumann, as someone seems to be suggesting. Though no doubt he's deserving to be in consideration.
