I'd like to see Burgin and Monticello's all time record in the region all-a. You pretty much know every year it comes down to Danville or Somerset. I've never considered it that big of a deal to win the all-a region eventhough I've enjoyed the all-a state tourn. and think its a great event. I think it would be better if they balanced the all-a regions instead of just using the same region alignment as the KHSAA. Some regions have mayne 10-12 teams in the all-a. My prediction is Somerset wins but Danville winning would not be much of an upset.

I've been there a few times and saw games in their tournament and didn't notice anything different than tournaments anywhere else. Officiating I have seen be a bit one sided but unfortunately that seems to happen everywhere when you have officials from the local region calling games involving teams from another or another state. I have seen some pretty good teams playing there from places like Washington DC, Miami and Memphis. To me that's pretty interesting to see how Kentucky teams stack up against teams from out of state metropolitian areas.

Warriors playing flawlessly. Up 48-12 late first half Should say Grant Co not Henry.

They did a few years back. Made regular season games more meaningful. Now the entire district tourney is played at one site. Seems like it should be Monticellos turn again.

I'll go with SW. I think a close game all the way with the Warriors opening it up late to 6-10 points from the free throw line. However it could go just the other way and I wouldn't be surprised much.

Southwestern 86 Monticello 24 One of those games where you feel bad for the other team because they have to come out to play the second half.

I'm just judging by results after week 1 as is implied in the first post. Winless Monticello lost by 18 to Metcalfe who didn't break 25 points in thier other two games. McCreary won once and was competitive on the other looks like. Wayne lost close but that's not surprising going to the 13th region. SW was a winner

I think so far SW is clearly top dog. Wayne is capeable but still a ways back of the Tribe. If you got Monticello ranked higher than anyone in the region other than maybe KSD then your not even making an effort to be taken seriously.

Andrew Wiggins' school Huntington Prep has a game scheduled against a team from North Carolina at Scott Co on November 18. Can anyone give some additional info about this event. Times? Are other teams playing? Is it a Scott Co. scrimmage as well?

I think I like the character of the current stadium more than the sterile look of the new one. I'm sure there's some advantages to the new construction but it will probably never have the feel of the old one once it's gone

Anyone else curious about why they get a writer from the 13th Region to do the 12th region preview? Looks like someone from the Somerset or Danville paper would do it.

Do you know how many MCHS's there are in this state. Due to your Mt. Sterling location I assume this one is Montgomery County but please can you spell out a school name instead of using the generic initials that could stand for numerous different schools. Just read the second post about the girls tourney after I posted the above. Thanks for clarifying that it is Montgomery County hosting.
