Interesting that Garrard County isn't in the top 10. That will change by season's end. They will be a mainstay in the 45th District title game for the next 4 years IMO. I'd probably have them even with or right behind Lincoln County.

 

Hagen Tyler(sophomore) will shine for Boyle County. Not surprised he's not a top 10 player but he will make a name for himself this year.

 

Russell Sims(junior) should become a household name in the 12th region his season. I am also interested in seeing how freshmen Drew Davis and Will Hager turn out this season.

 

Very intrigued by Somerset. They seemed on the cusp last season. And now they have Tyson Williams......

 

 

Pulaski County vs Southwestern is THE GAME to be at this season. Kapinga vs Gover? Edwards vs Johnson? It doesn't get any better than that in the 12th region this season. This is Pulaski's last chance with this talented group. Can they get it done?

I know there will be some changes in top teams and players at seasons end, but this is a pretty good preseason list. Tyson is going to get most of the attention at SHS, but watch out for Ryan Dishman(Jr) and Cam Cheuvront(Jr).

This is going to be an awesome year to live in Pulaski County! Not only big time rival games, but big time regional games as well. It's going to be fun.

No doubt. I hate my kid graduated but I am glad to be able to go check out the top games in the region. I get to be The Fan this year.

Wow! Good list of players from the 12th region. Seems some of the kids have grown and some have shrunk, haha! Can't wait for the season to start.....

Been that way for years. Truthfully Les Dixon does a great and thorough job. It is my understanding he contacts each of the coaches by email and makes his previews based off of their response or lack thereof. He probably has one of the more thorough reviews in the book to be honest. Any issue with the results falls on the coaches.

Les grew up in the 12th Region in Laurel County, so he knows it well.

I think the 45th will be extremely competitive once again. 1-4 is liable to be in any order. Some fun games ahead.
