Comments? McCreary picked up a big win over the Australian travel team. Wayne continues to play solid and will be right behind Southwestern all year unless the Cards just fall apart which is not gonna happen under Woods. Monticello has a new coach this year so that should bring some excitement back to the Trojans.

 

Coming week Southwestern has both Monticello and Wayne as well as Perry Central. 3-0

 

Wayne has Lincoln and Southwestern for a brutal week. 1-1

 

Monticello has Southwestern and Campbellsville. 1.-1

 

McCreary Central has Pulaski and West Jessamine. 0-2

I think so far SW is clearly top dog. Wayne is capeable but still a ways back of the Tribe. If you got Monticello ranked higher than anyone in the region other than maybe KSD then your not even making an effort to be taken seriously.

I had Monticello higher than McCreary in the preview based on hearsay and secondhand info. I couldn't get either coach to respond to my requests for information and know very little about either one. I know Monticello was young last year and young this year. I know McCreary lost Tyson and struggled without him last year. I figured why not rank Monticello higher? Nobody wants to give info on either team so it is what it is. McCreary has time to prove me wrong. As does Monticello.

I'm just judging by results after week 1 as is implied in the first post. Winless Monticello lost by 18 to Metcalfe who didn't break 25 points in thier other two games. McCreary won once and was competitive on the other looks like. Wayne lost close but that's not surprising going to the 13th region. SW was a winner

McCreary has a huge disadvantage with the coaching staff here.......

I hear you. I only do top 10 rankings now but I do agree with you that McCreary is better than Monticello.
