Raceland/Campbellsville Predictions
From what I hear C,ville likes to run a spread offense. I don't know if that is all they run. From looking at the stats they run a lot more then the RAMS do. They have run up to 35 times in a game and threw 20 passes. They have also threw 44 passes and run 23 times in a game. They mix it up. It looks like C,ville only completes about 50% of the passes. Up until the Lynn Camp game C,ville averaged about 4.2 ypc and 14.6 ypc. When you look at the game with Lynn Camp it shows C,ville rushed 23 times for a -6 yards. I don't know if that is a fact or typing glitch. But C,ville passed for 283 yards on 23-44 passes. Lynn Camp took them into over time and lost 12-6. So this should be a battle for the RAMS. We must put 4 qrts together. C,ville averages 110 rushing ypg and passes for 221ypg. They average 23.5ppg and the defense gives up only 8.8ppg. All these stats are from the last 5 regular season games C,ville played. This is going to be a battle for the RAMS. If they play sound fundamental mistake free ball we should do ok. But they better have their heads on straight and prepare for the battle of the year:taz::taz::

Raceland/Campbellsville Predictions
Only if they get there an hour before the game. The Rams need to get there two to three hours before the game. That way they can relax for a while. Have a snack. Listen to some music. Look around at the facilities. Get familiar with the area that they just invaded. Walk out on the field to get comfortable. Then start getting dressed and pumped up for the game of the year for them. Just don't get there and put them out on the field. You wouldn't do a race horse like that. Why would you do that to your team? They need to get settled down after a long bus ride.:idunno:

Mayfield 70 Caverna 0
I would think that it would help keep the team fresh and healthy. They have already been in a few wars. So they know what is coming. And when and if they get to the 4th round they will be fresh and not all banged up.

We here in Raceland won't get the wrong idea. Hope Whitt is ok. He's a great QB.

Dixie/Highlands Predictions
It's the end of the line for Dixie. They can go on vacation after next week. Say to La.-- Dixie Land :dancingpa New Orleans

Pike County Central 74 Fleming County 50
How do you score a combined 124 points in a single game? I guess what is more amazing is both scored over 50. Was it 11 on 7? Didn't the teams prepare a defensive strategy? Must have been great for the fans. I know the defensive coach of the Rams would have pulled his hair out over this game. Oh, wait. He doesn't have any hair. Must already been in one of these.

Mayfield 70 Caverna 0
:thumb: Hate that Caverna had to go through that. But It was good of the Mayfield coaching staff to try and hold the score down some. :thumb:

Mason County 62 East Ridge 6
:thumb:Great job Mason. Next week should prove to be a little tougher.

The ADI didn't give any stats on this game that I can see. Only who scored and from how far. Looks like Boyd had a good game. Scored on yards of 40, 13, 5 and 4.

Now he'll be wanting to play in the backfield next week!:ohbrother:

I think the defense played tough the entire game. But they got really tired the last 15 minutes. Just to much pressure put on them by the offense not moving the ball. We just can't get into any kind of rhythm. The few times we have this year looked really good. It has cost us dearly in a few games this season. The offense this coming week better be hitting on all cylinders.

I certainly hope we do finally get to meet in two weeks. I guess that means we both would have won!!

:thumb: If you take it the the way I do as an outsider. You can laugh at about 90% of what they say. It can be entertaining. As good as the comedy station. Or you can go at it like you want to throw the radio down and stomp on it. We were up in the stands of the Ram game listening to them on a device. We were all laughing. They had us almost falling off the bleachers. They are a little bias!!

What is it they say? A win is a win. We just couldn't get the offense rolling. It was like a V-8 running with two sparkplug wires crossed. I was hoping we would come out and play with more fire or something. I think we really missed Litteral and Burchett in the backfield. Hats off to Lynn Camp. They never gave up. They kept plugging along. LC is a very hard nosed team. LC seemed to be playing harder then the RAMS the last 15 minutes of the game. They should be proud. They never gave up. The RAM defense looked very good about 75% of the time. You could tell we were missing our noseguard and linebacker.. But I think they played hard. Hopefully next week we will be at full strength. We better be. Cat- in- the- hat I hope you and others got to go over and meet some of the good folks of Raceland football tailgating. And I hoped they served you up some good food. Enjoy the weekend Rams. And get back to work Monday. Work your tails off this week. I don't want to drive 4 hours back home in a bad mood!! Lynn Camp I hope your trip back home goes good. Maybe we will meet again next year. Be safe.
