Fort Campbell 56 Caldwell County 7

Featured Replies

Caldwell County scored late in the fourth to get on the board, but the game was dominated by the Falcons.

Andrews sits out in the second quarter. Falcons roll on to score two more with out him. The defense only gave up 125 yards in the game, while the offense rushed for 281 and passed for 246 for a total 527. If you take out the 80 yard drive by Caldwell in the fourth the Falcon defense to 45 yards before the young guys came in to play.

Solid effort by the Falcons to start the playoffs! Looking forward to the old rivalry game with Trigg next week.

Surprised out how good the field conditions were tonight, great recovery from the mud-fest last week.

Great win Ft Campbell.

Great job Falcons...good to hear your field is in good shape!!! See you in three....:ylsuper:

Looking forward to it, Good Luck against Bardstown!!!

I believe I've spotted Ft. Campbell's weakness.

When they get up by 40 or more they tend to lose their focus a little bit. :D

You are correct; FC always seems to allow the complimentary - "thanks for coming TD late in the 4th" It is a struggle, but FC is trying their best to get through it. I thought the weakness was a secret, wish you hadn't exposed it to everybody on BGP. :ylsuper:

Don't know if that is a weakness, this late game score typically comes in the last quarter when the opponents starters are still playing against primarily JV guys getting some good game experience. Is that losing focus? I do not even know if that is a weakness.

Fort Campbell is 202 points away from the points scored in a season (Highlands has it right now with 801, from 97 I beleive but could be wrong with that). If they keep playing like they are and everything goes good, they will come closet to breaking that records.

Wow...

You're looking for the Falcons to average 50 per game through the Final ?!?

They have been averaging 54.5 a game, but I do not think it is realistic that they do it all of the way to the finals, but they might get a few higher scoring games and a few lower scoring games. We can hope they can do it, but in the end all that matters is the winning in Bowling Green.
