Final

Ram not looking so smart right about now.

Most NKY fans will not bat an eye at Dixie scoring 41 despite what we heard about Ashland's D. The shocker is Dixie's D only giving up 14.

Congrats to the Colonels.

Not a shocker on the winner, but a shocker on the score. :scared:

It's impossible to determine how good a team is in this neck of the wood because the competition very seldom is any good. I think we found out tonight.

What were these two teams seeds?

Dixie was just too athletic for Ashland

Ashland was a 2, and Dixie a 3.

Watch it. Clyde will be all over you. :sssh:

Well...when a 4-6 team destroys a 9-1 team by 27 points on their home field, I guess that says all anyone needs to know about the difference between Northern Kentucky football and Northeastern Kentucky football. Ashland had a good season, but having to face the district they have to face in the playoffs has to be frustrating.

Congratulations to Dixie Heights!

Ashland had 6 turnovers for the night, which equaled their total for the whole regular season - credit goes to Dixie.

Ashland attempted over 30 passes tonight - they averaged about 12 per game for the regular season.

From what I listened to of the game, Dixie really put the clamps on Albers tonight.

Outside of Dixie's first couple games, their defense has really struggled. It's basically been a matter of not being able to tackle. It's really surprising to see them only give up 2 scores tonight.

Congratulation's Dixie! Enjoy tonight, and then get ready for the next game.

I give Ashland's coach Leon Hart credit for saying in his postgame radio interview that Dixie was simply bigger, stronger, and faster.

Once again, though, I love listening to Ashland's radio guys!!! I've questioned some of their antics in the past, but they do describe the game very well and their extreme homerism is entertaining when taken for what it is.
