  1. :thumb: And all this and it DOESN'T even matter. Both will be behind Hartline this year AND next unless something I don't forsee happens in the spring.
  2. For nothing more than some comedy on a rainy day I couldn't stay away. I HAD to see his response. LOL. I just don't get it. Your response however is right on.
  3. UF is obviously the better team and should win convincingly. I however, would take Norwood over Spikes on the collegiate level any day of the week.
  4. I'm glad you feel the obligation and responsibility to tell 18 - 21 year old young men what they should and shouldn't do. That is laughable. Kids should be able to come and go as they please. That is why there are rules dealing with transfers. That was my last view at this thread, I may as well be having this conversation with my couch. Peace!
  5. That just doesn't make sense. I'm sorry. It is up to the player's where they want to play. If they are willing to go in and COMPETE for a position, who are we to tell them not to.
  6. That makes absolutely NO sense IMO. Why would UK not want them both? Find out which one is better and play that one. If the lesser of the two choose to transfer, so be it. By that rationale, USC wouldn't have all those great HB's. They recruit EVERY great player and the ones that win, play. It isn't Brooks' responsibility to "tell Moss to go elsewhere", it is his responsibility to recruit kids that increase UK's chances of winning. I just don't understand that logic at all!
  7. I remember that one and another bowl game (can't remember who they played) where the continually got unsportsmanlike conduct penalties but were so much better it didn't matter. They won in a rout with all of those penalties. I've always despised them, but they are never dull.
  8. I remember when I played High School Baseball, we had to beg and plead for money to fix up the field because it was like 2 bucks to go to a game and not many fans came. Football charged 5 and alot of people came. Does it make it fair? Who knows...most important rule of life: IT ISN'T FAIR. Deal with it and move on....or join the Peace Corp and donate the little money you earn, just don't complain about not having the "good life" when it comes to material things. Same situation.
  9. That actually is the best question asked in all of this nonsense.
  10. And Florida cuts pay of staff professors and increase Urban's pay....UK isn't alone here, and you all know this. It is the nature of the beast. I'd say Rich Rod is still making fair money outside of Detroit isn't he??? Most of that state is out of work. I guess Pitino and Nutt coach for minimum wage?
  11. Well, in my league Brees is far and away leading in pts. He went #2 and I drafted #3.
  12. If you are really basing it on this year only...at this point: J. Harris and J. Best are in the lead with Gilyard in the mix. However, we all know that Tebow and McCoy started the season with such a huge lead, they will be tough to beat.
  13. I'll take back what I said about the NYG WR during the preseason. They played awesome yesterday. Dallas' DB's, with the exception of Sensabaugh, were terrified to try to tackle any Giants RB. Romo still sucks. Phillips and Garrett will be gone. Giants are sitting very nicely in the East. ONLY buy RETIRED players jerseys...or Franchise QB's that you really like. If I were a Giants fan, it would be Phil Simms, LT, or Strahan for me. Cowboys jersey's...I have Aikman and Tony Dorsett.
  14. because Romo hasn't dated her.....yet! They didn't want him to be distracted!
  15. I think UF will be fine in the end, and I agree, Hardesty is far and away UT's best offensive player and it isn't close.
  16. i watched him on ESPU at the Elite 11 camp. He can be good, but if he has to start next year, there will be problems. He is a good long term solution, but not a Frosh star IMO.
  17. Florida is still what we thought they were, UT is still what we thought they were. They did however play that game as well as they could've. Not a great game to watch, but hard played.
  18. I think Lame is there 3 or 4 years regardless of his success. I don't see him as a longtime coach ANYWHERE. If he is successful, he will bolt back to the NFL and if he crashes, well his daddy's name will get him another asst job in the NFL.
  19. Wasn't sure if this should go here or the UT - Florida thread..... http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/10080144/Kiffin-should-stop-mouthing-off,-but-he-won't
  20. What are they up to now in their own mind...19, 20???
  21. Interestingly enough, Arkansas did give UT the '98 title. That is one of two opposing SEC places I haven't seen a game. I know one big fan, but she is also a Red Sox and Pats fan  so I don't really listen when she speaks.
  22. Bad! And from my day in Knox yesterday....the natives are already restless.
