  1. Fine? I know most people are homers for their favorite team, but come on. They ran horrible routes, they didn't make plays on the ball...you can't really be serious.
  2. I live in TN and am from Harlan Co...as hard as it is to root for Bell, I will be in this case.
  3. Just in time to help the guys move out of the dorms that he hates so much.
  4. I was hoping for the best, but he looked really shaky last night. Of course, as I suspected in another thread, the WR group is horrible and didn't help anyone out last night.
  5. Exactly...and as long as teams let him skip it and then show up to play, he will do it.
  6. He is like most kids/employees...he isn't going to do anything he doesn't want to do until someone authority MAKES him.
  7. It wasn't an Elway arm, but we've seen many QB's do well with arms in his category...I think he struggled as much with the mental aspect as anything.
  8. Eli is on record stating he doesn't even know who will start at WR this year. That can't be a good thing at this point of the preseason. I think they struggle in that role big time.
  9. I'd throw Villanvoa during Tim Thomas' frosh season...can't remember the exact year, but I was at that game and it was the loudest i've ever heard Rupp (until Tay Prince went stupid on UNC).
  10. I guess we could throw Redmen, Lorenzen, and Woodson in there too unfortunately. :ohbrother:
  11. Understandable. I just hope they are both smart enough to make good use of their money. Lord knows it doesn't last forever.
  12. I guess i'm different than most UK (and other historically powerful)fans in the sense that while I take great pride in our history, I only look at a 5 - 10 year period when evaluationg where we stand. So, in that regard I am in awe of what Izzo has been able to accomplish at MSU. In my lifetime, we weren't great in the 80's and dominated the 90's. This decade, well mediocre at best. I'm looking for a great next decade. Williard to answer the original question, unless Jurich can pull one of the big names out of the hat.
  13. So, without buress last year they couldn't win??? What are they going to do without him this year? And Toomer? Steve Smith as a #1??? I agree, I think the Eagles will be down too. That is why I think the Cowboys take the division. It will be very tight, but I think they are a step ahead in the east.
  14. While Couch fell well below expectations, I don't think you can even compare the two. Couch was a starter and his career COULD have been different under different circumstances.
  15. I rarely agree with CATS CATS CATS, but on this one if we are looking at the last 10 years he is spot on. Michigan St. has been one of if not the MOST consistent program in the nation. Now, if you are talking all time...well yeah UofL is ahead of them...still squarely behind UK, UCLA, UNC, Duke....
  16. I'm going with: Patriots Steelers Chargers Titans Cowboys Vikings Saints Cardinals Pats and Cowboys in the Super Bowl with Pats winning. Brady returns to MVP form. Polamolu Defensive MVP AFC Rookie of the Year -- Sanchez NFC Rookie of the Year -- Curry
  17. Each Division Winner NFL MVP NFL Defensive Player of the Year NFC/AFC Rookies of the Year NFC/AFC Champs Super Bowl Champs What say you...
  18. I'm a Cowboys fan that watched EVERY game last year and most of the games during his career. He isn't very good and last night I thought he was a total joke. I will assure you most if not all vets hate 2 a days and camp in general, but he might as well have just stayed in the locker room.
  19. I understand what you are saying about the not apologizing part...but you also probably don't get tell your players (or children) to do that if you don't do it yourself. How can he stand there and say those things if he only apologized when he HAD to? That is my problem with it all. Shallow apology. I'm out now. Surely I didn't pay my 20 bucks to discuss this. :sssh: I'm moving on to actual sports.
  20. Great place to see a game. I was there for the Outback Bowl in 99. Loved it.
  21. Roy Williams embarassed himself during the Oklahoma drill. Now, i'll admit, when I played years ago nothing sent more "dread" to us than those two words...but come on....that was SAD!
  22. I'm no judge or jury...not my place. We will all be judged by one and the rest of our opinions really bear no weight on this or any other subject. I however have to wonder...if he was really doing what he tells his players for the 30 years like he said of "tell the truth and the mistake is in your past", why did he wait 6 years to come clean on this? You will not find a bigger Pitino fan anywhere than I am. I hated watching the conference, I don't want to see him squirm and im far from delighting in this...I just have trouble with "coming clean and telling the truth" only after you know everyone will find out.
  23. If I were a GM and had to make that choice, I'd quit and move to the beach.
  24. You only get there 4 hours early??? Just messing with you...but that is cutting it close where I come from.
